What Do You Want From Me?

Thank goodness I’m a leftover lover! I get sick of foods if I eat them every day for weeks on end, but back-to-back meals that involve the same foods do not bother me in the least. This is a very good thing considering there are only two people in our household and we often have some dinner leftover.

As I’m sure you’ve already guessed, my lunch today included a big bowl of hot leftover cauliflower, carrots and pork.

She's an Easy (Leftover) Lover

I also included a stick of string cheese on the side since I apparently have to eat cheese every single day. If you don’t see cheese in one of my meals, it was likely included in one of my snacks (and I typically don’t blog my snacks).

The Goods

Wednesday Lunch

I threw this lunch together as I was putting away last night’s dinner which made packing lunch for work a breeze this morning.

What Do You Want From Me?

Tell me, please!

In 2011, I would like to continue the betterment of this blog. Though I have some ideas of my own, you guys are the readers and I will obviously learn the most from YOU and your suggestions.

So now, in the words of Adam Lambert, I ask you, “What do you want from me?” (Hate that song, by the way.)

I would love to hear what you would like to see on the blog in the future… or what things I currently do on the blog that you would like to see featured more often.

Please comment away and know that I’ll be sure to listen to your ideas and will do my best to make this lil’ blog coolest blog in all the land! πŸ˜‰

You already document the majority of your life, so there really isn’t much to ask for, other than please travel more because I can’t afford it, that way I can live through you!

haha you’d be surprised… aside from emails asking me about food/fitness regimens & sadie, the next most common question i get is probably “where did you get that shirt” or “where can i find those boots?” i always feel so funny posting about fashion b/c though i like it and enjoy cute clothes/accessories, i don’t feel like i have that much to offer! if you have specific topics/ ideas, i’m definitely open to it!

your blog is definitely a favorite of mine so i would hate to see it change—i love your exercise updates, meal documentation, recaps of your days/nights, and the personality that you let shine through in every post! thank you for a GREAT blog!

OMG I hate that song too lol. One of the zumba classes I go to uses that song as the cool down and it drives me nuts.

I love the blog as is…I love trying recipes you post here. The only thing I might be interested in are some fun workout ideas to beat the treadmill boredom I’ve developed…I tried a couple of the incline interval treadmill workouts you’ve posted before and loved them. Other than that, more of the same!! Oh and seeing Sadie’s face makes me really happy too πŸ™‚

i LOVE your blog and i love how you tell us about all your fun activities- there is always something new and exciting! I think maybe one thing that I would like to read more on is how you tackle ‘exercise ruts’ or little everyday feelings on food and exercise (if you do!) I always love your upbeat and positive attitude, but wonder if you ever ‘feel guilty’ or get in ruts with food or exercise.. sometimes I do and its good to just hear some advice from others!

I cannot stand that Adam Lambert song! As soon as I hear the first few notes of the song, I am sure to change the radio station!

I really love your blog. I would like to see more recipes. Maybe some lunch and breakfast ideas for people who work. I can never figure out what to bring for breakfast or lunch that is healthy and will keep me full. πŸ™‚

I absolutely love your blog and it’s one of my favorites! I really love it just the way it is – you blog all your meals, workouts, recipes, photos of you and Ryan…you bring the readers into your world just perfectly. Maybe add in thoughts and feelings either good or bad about your relationship with exercise, food, etc. We all have our good and bad days so it’d be nice to see how you deal with those bad days since you’re always such a happy, positive person – which I love feeling through your blog b/c that then makes me a happier person. Either way, your blog is great as is and I’ll always be a loyal reader! πŸ™‚

Oh and I just remembered one more thing! I love the videos you’ve been doing lately; you’re food tutorials, Ryan’s guest workout video….maybe more videos of that and some of your workouts would be an awesome addition!

    And love Sadie!!

I’d like to know how you manage your time – how do you workout, eat, do errands, work full time, blog, moderate comments, take care of Sadie, take care of your self, spend time with hubby, and do everything? How do you do it all – and not go crazy? It seems like so much to do – and have a life on top of all the chores and work and all.

(Woops I hope that’s not excessive hehehe) Could you share some more advice on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle or eat healthy when with friends who don’t believe in that same lifestyle or who surround you with sweets? (Let’s just say the holidays are a tough time for me to maintain my healthy eating and exercise…) Thanks! : )

It would also be cool, as someone already mentioned to talk about the days where you struggle with body and weight and food. If you have those days,
I dont know if its a physoge but you never talk about problems with that kind of stuff. or if you ever secretly feel guilty if you overeat.
    Idk just a thought!
and maybe you just dont care! lol

Please don’t ever change your blog…I absolutely love the way you let your personality shine through! As a college student, your quick, healthy and delicious meal ideas save me on many nights when I just don’t know what to cook! If you don’t mind, I just have a quick question…you said you eat cheese every day (I love it and I do too!) but do you go for the low fat stuff? I hear so many nutritionists on tv and in magazines say to only eat low fat cheese, but the full fat stuff tastes sooo much better! What’s your opinion on this?

I am getting married on February 5th (38 days!) and I have gotten so many picture ideas, program ideas, menu ideas, etc from your blog!! Like someone mentioned above, I would love to hear more from Ryan. My future husband is a fitness fanatic and I am always trying to make meals to satisfy his BIG appetite. I would love to hear you and Ryan talk about balancing work/life/food/working out in the beginning of a marriage and any tips for soon to be newly weds!

I like how simple it is to navigate and that you keep the blog posts open, so I can easily scroll down and read over new updates rather than having to click links to open each individual one!

I have found so much in common with a lot of your posts, from the mini meals you make, you philosophies, favorite workouts, and that my sister also lives in Florida so its funny to hear you talk about it because she says and talks about a lot of the same things!

I’m actually even cooking up a batch of those Roasted PB Chickpeas as we speak. SO SO good, who wouldve thought?

    Keep it up. LOVE PBFingers.

Something that I want to do on my blog (but can’t yet because I don’t have nearly as many readers as you!) is to promote other bloggers by having a once a week guest post on a topic of their (or my) choosing. I agree with some of the comments that showing more workout routines would be interesting, but then again one thing I like about your blog is that it’s not ALL about your workouts…I love the Sadie & Ryan & family stories too! You have such a well-balanced lifestyle! You are so relatable! Other blogs sometimes make me feel overwhelmed with how absolutely perfect the bloggers are…or the insane meals they prepare.
