- 1 c. Chobani plain Greek yogurt
- Fresh blueberries
- Chia seeds
- Ground flax seeds
People seem to praise protein as the miracle element to any meal to help you feel fuller for longer. While I totally agree with this, I also need fat and fiber! If I just eat a hunk of meat, I am left wanting more. Add in some fat (nuts, seeds, cheese!) and fiber (veggies, fruit, whole grains!) and I’m a happy girl.
Don’t fear the fat!
What a great breakfast to enjoy after a sweaty workout.
This morning I headed to the gym ready to exercise! I guess two days off from the gym coupled with some seriously indulgent eating over the weekend served as a good motivator. Note to self: If I’m ever suffering from gym burn out, I should take some time off. It will reinvigorate me!
My morning workout included a BodyPump class followed by 20 minutes on the elliptical. It felt so good to get my blood flowin’!
Fast forward through a nice 2.5 mile walk with Sadie and a delicious breakfast and it’s time to work. I am so wishing I was still on vacation…
