By the time dinner rolled around, I still wasn’t as hungry as I usually am and decided to make a lighter meal that included grilled teriyaki pork chops, served with a side of squash and onions, sautéed in olive oil.
I followed this meal up with a little baking and snacking, but you’ll have to wait until tomorrow for the recipe debut. It’s a good (and healthy!) one.
Hint: It reminds me a lot of this recipe, but scaled down a bit for one person.
Halloween Food
After dinner I spent entirely too much time browsing Pinterest and looking for fun and delicious Halloween goodies. I figured you guys might get a kick out of some of the amazingly creative creations I stumbled upon as well.
Check ‘em out!

- Vegetable Skeleton (This reminds me of the veggie turkey my mom and sister made last year!)
And I leave you with this…

I did the mummy dog thing two years ago; mustard eyes and all. 1) they never turn out like that picture and 2) they’re a pain in the ass, Sorry…no other way to put that. But they did taste good and, if you show up late enough, everyone at the party LOVES them.

we have a costume idea and MAY be going to a friends’ party on oct. 28, but it’s on the same weekend as our wedding anniversary, so i’m not sure we’ll be able to make it.
