Simple Asian Chicken

Last week’s ponzu chicken reminded me just how easy a meal of chicken sautéed in a simple, Asian sauce can be.

I cooked about eight chicken tenders in a sauce that I made using only three ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons hoisin sauce

I then added lightly steamed broccoli and cauliflower to the pan so the vegetables could soak up some sauce as well.

This meal was incredibly easy and took about 10 minutes to prepare!

Dessert included two truffles from my Easter basket.

Now it’s time to watch the latest episode of Bethenny Ever After that I DVRed last night!

Ryan is currently on his way home after working late and I’m off to cram in some quality girly TV time with Sadie.

Goodnight!

I have a question for you and Ryan. How do you figure out what to watch on tv at night? I cannot tell you the number of disagreements my boyfriend and I have over what to watch. He groans every time I put one of my shows on and expects me to watch sports all the time. It drives me crazy!! Does this happen to you? Any one else out there?

DVR is a life savor for my hubby and I! We dvr shows we each want to watch and watch them when the other is busy or not home. We have several shows we enjoy together and watch them at night, or if we have time, we like to get a netflix or redbox to watch!

  12. Haha I always cram in all my girly TV when my boyfriend has to work late! It passes the time though and makes me not miss him being home in the evening as much :) Don’t tell him I said that!

I like your blog because the meals you make look real & more like what I make at home- not very appetizing, sometimes gross looking, but very tasty
