every time i wear it i think of my grandma! the clasp it a little loose though, so i’m scared of losing it. eek!

I have some pieces like that, too – not a good feeling! My sister is awesome with jewelry, so I’ve learned a few things from her – you could go to a craft store (like Michael’s or JoAnn’s) and get a small safety chain to attach on either side of the clasp so that if the clasp does come undone, the bracelet won’t fall off. Or I’m sure a jewelry store could add one for you, as well.
