Toffee Monster

Today began like most Sundays do around here. Ryan and I sat down to a delicious breakfast that included scrambled eggs made with ham and spinach.

Sunday breakfast

Plus a sliced apple with peanut butter for dipping on the side!

Then it was time for church followed by some Sunday errands. At Publix, we loaded up on food for the week, including ingredients for a few crock pot meals.

Tonight’s dinner is already cooking away. If it turns out well, I’ll be sure to share the recipe with you guys. Lots of lentils in this dish!

Lunch

Lunch came together quickly. We made roast beef subs with fresh bread from the bakery.

On the side I had a sliced Harry & David pear that I plucked from a gift basket the company sent to me yesterday. Those pears are so darn delicious. (Stay tuned for a Harry & David giveaway later this week!)

I also had my fair share of Thorntons toffee that Ryan brought back from England.

Oh my word, this stuff is magnificent. It’s turning me into a toffee monster. It tastes like a cross between milky caramels and crunchy toffee. Yum!

I’m hoping to spend the rest of the afternoon outside. See ya!
