Apparently I am on a three-ingredient kick.
First, it was my three ingredient pumpkin cheesecake mousse yesterday and now it’s three ingredient chicken fingers!
What can I say? I like things simple!
To begin, grab some raw chicken tenders.
You can usually find these alongside the chicken breast meat… and it’s typically cheaper! Win!
Then, grab two bowls. Crack a couple of eggs in one of the bowl and whisk away until you have bowl of yellowy egg goop (that’s what it’s called in the cooking world 😉 ).
Fill the other bowl about a quarter of the way full with Italian breadcrumbs.
First dredge each chicken finger in the egg mixture before immediately rolling it in the Italian breadcrumbs. Completely coat the chicken tenders in the breadcrumbs before placing on a cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray.
Bake the chicken tenders at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked.
Serve the chicken fingers with your favorite dipping sauce (ketchup, BBQ sauce, honey mustard, etc.).
These chicken fingers are perfect for picky children… or picky boyfriends and husbands. 😉
Ryan, Sadie and I split these chicken tenders between the three of us. We all give them two enthusiastic thumbs up. Well, Sadie doesn’t, but that’s only because she doesn’t have thumbs. 😉
