Sam Snead’s

March 15, 2011 by Julie 33 Comments

Late this afternoon I heard some wonderful news from my dad. He was in town for work and had the evening free to spend with me and Ryan!

After work, Ryan and I took Sadie on 40-minute walk before heading to Maitland to meet my dad and one of his colleagues at Sam Snead’s for dinner.

We arrived around 7 p.m. and started the evening with a round of drinks. I opted for a glass of Riesling which I enjoyed as we chatted and waited for our appetizers.

When the appetizers arrived, I dug right into a crab cake that was full of lump crab meat. I ate about 3/4 of it (I was supposed to be sharing) before nabbing a large shrimp from the shrimp cocktail.

For my entrée, I opted for the cobb salad which came with lots of toppings, my favorite being the avocado.

I cleaned my plate!

We had a great dinner with some very amusing conversation. Stay tuned for a post based around our dinner talk tomorrow. I’m anxious to hear your opinions!

Almost time for bed…

P.S. The Fashion page was finally updated this evening!

Dinner looks amazing!!! I miss Sadie! 🙂 I have a funny story for you. My boyfriend and I absolutely have fallen in love with the vizsla breed and every time I get my google reader open he runs over and asks “puppy pictures?!” and just loves seeing Sadie!! Well now we are on Spring Break and you posted a few Sadie pictures that were adorable and he calls me on the phone and says “I looked at puppy pictures today!” and I was like “really? Sadie pictures?” and he was like “yeah I typed in peanut butter fingers into google and found it!”

Oh goodness he is so adorable!! So obviously you can tell what dog we are getting out of college 🙂

Of course you will be the first one I send them too!! In fact I would probably tweet the pictures to you as we choose one. I would send via text but I obviously don’t have your number haha! It’ll be a few years but I’m sure you’ll still be around blogging for sure! 😀

I have been enjoying Chia seeds on my hardboiled egg whites. They stick really well and give the eggs more visual appeal. (peel! lol!)

I think of you and your fun blog every time I eat Chia seeds!!
