Good afternoon!
I hope you guys are enjoying a great Friday and had a fabulous Thanksgiving and/or first day of Hanukkah yesterday. We had a wonderful time with my in-laws in Sarasota and are spending the day with family again today. Next up on the agenda? Catching the latest Hunger Games movie this afternoon! I’ve heard great things about it, so I am excited!
Now, since it’s Friday, it’s time for another Things I’m Loving Friday! Here are some things that are making me smile this week:

- Straight No Chaser
Last Friday night, Ryan and I went to see our all time favorite a cappella group, Straight No Chaser, perform live for the third time! (I uploaded a short video to my Instagram account, which you may check out here if you are interested!) We absolutely love SNC and buy tickets to see them whenever they preform at a venue that’s relatively close to us. We saw them perform in Gainesville on Friday and I swear a smile was plastered on my face the entire time. Watching Straight No Chaser perform feels like a concert, comedy act and play all rolled into one! They’re so talented and I’m happy it’s finally the appropriate time of year for me to bring their Holiday Spirits album out of storage! If you love a cappella music, I cannot recommend this group any more! You can see their upcoming shows here.
This website is AMAZING. After scanning your inbox, UnRoll.Me finds all of your subscriptions and allows you to go down the list and unsubscribe from tons of junk emails at one time! You can also combine certain emails into one “master email” that Unroll.me will send you every day, consolidating lots of emails into one simple email. I get hundreds of emails through this blog every day, many of which are junk emails or ridiculous press releases, so the discovery of this website made me want to jump around my office and dance! Organization for the win!!!
My sister turned me on to this lip and cheek stain and it’s one of my favorite beauty products. (It’s not cheap, but I’ve also had mine for more than a year since a little bit goes a long way.) It adds the perfect touch of light pink color to my lips and is great for the days when you want a little color without looking overdone. If you’re a big fan of natural-looking makeup, I think you’ll love this stuff as much as I do!
- Pandora’s Rockin’ Holidays Station
A classic! If you love upbeat holiday music, check out Pandora’s Rockin’ Holidays station. I’ve been listening to it for years and it’s my go-to source for holiday music that never fails to get me in the Christmas spirit!
- Black Friday Sales
I haven’t purchased anything on sale just yet because I haven’t had much time to spend on my computer, but I’ve seen some fabulous deals pop up and am hoping I’ll have a few minutes to do some online shopping later this evening. I want to get a jump start on Christmas gifts for my friends and family! My mac book pro I got last night! My hubs surprised me and last minute we decided to go to best buy to see if they still had the one I wanted ($200 off holler) and they did and I am typing from it as I speak 😉
Im usually not a black friday person, but I’m not complaining 🙂 However, self-shopping is done for now. Gotta start my Christmas shopping! Love this time of year, and the WEATHER is amazing. For Florida 🙂
I love Pandora- I always listen to the Disney station while I weight lift. For some reason, listening to Aladdin pumps me up! 🙂
The unenroll website was definitely a fun find for me but I’m not sure it entirely worked because I’ve still received some emails I’m almost certain I unsubscribed from, but maybe that’s not actually the case.

What an awesome week-weekend you’re having! And I love the way you described the lip/cheek stain~it sounds like a good one since I’m not big on makeup and putting on a lot of stuff on my face. Also, I made the pineapple souffle without half the sugar and it was awesome! My dad loved it and thought it was one of the best side dishes yesterday next to my creamed corn. 😀
I love holiday weekends to spend time with my husband and RELAX! I have so much to catch up on and I am looking forward to this weekend to do it!
I have a mini version of Posie Tint and it has lasted me almost two years! I guess I haven’t used it in a while, but it definitely lasts a long time. I do love the subtle pink color it adds to my cheeks and lips!

I also love Pandora Christmas station. I’ll be blasting those tunes all December, as I need something to get me into the holiday spirit here in Brisbane. I’m having a hard time with the whole Black Friday concept lately. After seeing the news today about crazy Walmart fights and stampedes back in the States, it made me feel sick to even think about it!!! Yuck.

Since you love in Florida, and seem to get close to the Disney area, I was wondering, how do you avoid all the horrible traffic??? I’m sure there has to be back roads or something. Also, where are your grocery stories??? We have a condo that we rent and try to eat meals in the room to save money, but it seems like you have to drive forever to find a grocery store that doesn’t chArge outrageous amounts!!
I have loved Straight No Chaser for a while, but they never came to a venue close to me. But my husband and I recently relocated to a city near Jacksonville. So we were able to go see them a couple of weeks ago. It was an awesome show! I absolutely love their holiday stuff so I am glad that I can finally play it. Love them!

Straight No Chaser is my absolute favorite! My grandmother purchased their Christmas CD for me a few years back and I have loved them since then. This week calls for pjs, Straight No Chaser, and lots of cocoa 🙂
