A Minted Giveaway

August 26, 2015 by Julie 1,442 Comments

Our nursery is complete!

Minted Animal picture

I previously shared a nursery tour on the blog back in July but the look was a bit incomplete thanks to some bare spots on the wall. The place above our changing table was perhaps the most glaringly bare and though I shopped around my usual places in hopes of stumbling upon a cute baby-friendly print to frame, I kept coming up short.

Minted to the rescue!

Nursery Prints

I’ve used Minted in the past for our holiday cards last year and bridal shower and bachelorette party invitations for two of my girlfriends, so when the company reached out to me to offer to create birth announcement cards for us, my interest piqued because I already loved the site from my past experiences. The only issue? I didn’t really care to send out birth announcements (though I’m sure Chase will be all over our holiday card this year), but when I shared some of my woes about finding the perfect print for our nursery with the Minted team, they kindly offered to send me a print from their beautiful Minted Art collection for Chase’s bedroom.

Minted Nursery Prints

It took me quite a while to select the perfect print. I went back and forth so many times and fell in love with more than a small handful of the prints featured on the site. All of the designs featured on Minted are sourced through their community of independent artists through ongoing design competitions, so there are a myriad of artistic styles to choose from to fit your personal preferences.

Minted Artists

I tend to gravitate toward soft colors and calming prints and in the end I selected an adorable map of the world speckled with animals for a whimsical feel for our nursery.

The Animal World Map is available in two different colors and I immediately chose the khaki and blue/green color combination, knowing it would fit best with the decor we currently had in our nursery.

Within a few hours of the print arriving on our doorstep, we put it on display and our nursery was complete! I love it so much and owe a big thank you to Minted for such a lovely gift!

Minted Giveaway

And now I’m excited to share the love and offer you guys a chance to win a $200 credit to Minted to use toward anything on the site including any of the following options:

  • Baby Shower and Kids Birthday Party Invitations and Decor
  • Holiday Cards
  • Stationary
  • Nursery and Kids Bedroom Prints
  • Birth Announcements
  • Home Decor

To enter this giveaway, please leave a comment on this blog post, telling me what you would use your $200 gift card towards if you won! I will randomly select a winner on Friday morning.

Good luck!

I love Minted and with a wedding coming up I would use it for shower notes or if we’re able to close on the house we have our eyes set on then some prints for the walls like you were able to use! All the best.

I would definitely look for some art for my daughters room with a Minted gift card. The wall above her crib is still bare, and she’s 10 months old already!

What a great site! I love so many things on it. A $200 gift card would help decorate an otherwise boring apartment (or new house?!). There is a great pineapple print I have my eye on. 🙂

I would do either holiday cards of my new baby (4 months old) or home décor. We bought our house when I was pregnant so I haven’t done anything but the nursery. But some of my wall décor fell down and broke in the nursery too. ;(

I just moved into my first home with my husband after eight years of college! The walls are quite bare so I would use the mint credit towards home decor and also maybe a holiday card this year to send to friends/family with a picture of us in front of our new home!

I would use it to add a few pieces to the gallery wall in my bedroom. I was just gifted a painting from my aunt, which was painted by my Great Grandmother. It is a gorgeous piece, with lots of history and meaning behind it (she used to gift paintings to her family in celebration of life events like weddings, birthdays, and babies), and it inspired me to start a gallery wall in my bedroom.
