Bachelorette Discussions

May 31, 2011 by Julie 77 Comments

What’s a girl to do when her weekend diet was dominated by cookies, cupcakes and sangria?

Eat a butt-ton of vegetables for lunch of course!

All Dressed Up

I fashioned myself a veggie-packed salad that included butter lettuce, carrots, turkey, cauliflower, broccoli, red pepper and parmesan asiago dressing.

So Check Me Out, Hey!

I feel like I have vitamins and nutrients running through my veins right now! Veggie high!

Back to work… but first, some Bachelorette talk…

Let’s Discuss The Bachelorette

As you guys know, I’m quite a fan of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. I love how many of you seem to share my sick love of these ridiculously fantastic shows and decided to make Tuesday mornings “Bachelorette Discussion Time” on the PBF Facebook page.

We can share our thoughts on the latest episode and declare our intense hatred for Bentley and the masked looney every week. Feel free to stop by and share your thoughts! I’ll be sure to mail a rose to the final commenter. Okay, that was a lie, but definitely stop by if you’re a fanatic like me!

Question of the Afternoon

  • What is your favorite t.v. show that’s currently on t.v.?

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

I LOVE the bachelorette! My tv wasn’t working yesterday and I felt like it was a matter of life or death situation when I was talking to the tv guy, luckily we got it fixed, crisis averted! Yea Bentley is um interesting but she really likes him, probably cause he’s not the only one throwing himself at her. I do like mickey though, William started to annoy me with all of his bragging. OH and this is by far my fav show thats currently on!.. Well right up there with so you think you can dance!

So, technically it’s not a TV show, but it might as well be – the best thing on TV right now is the live footage of the Casey Anthony trial! I’ve more sucked into this case than I have been into a reality show!

The Bachelorette– although Extreme Makeover Weight Loss Edition (which started last night) was pretty good as well! It’s like the biggest loser, but one episode takes place over the course of a year, so you can see their weight loss success if one episode. I may also like 16 and Pregnant (guilty pleasure…ahh!) 😉

I love love LOVE the Bachelorette!! I didn’t know how I would feel about this season because I didn’t really like Ashley on the Bacelor this season but the boys make up for it! 😉 William is my favorite so far!! I loved how he noticed that she wasissing her bouquet walking down the isle, I feel like most men wouldn’t catch that! As far as Bentley goes, I like the drama he brings to the show but I think he is jut going to end up being another Frank from Ali’s season in the end 🙂

I tend to go for either really bad reality TV (16 & Pregnant has me hooked) or really intense dramas (right now I’m OBSESSED with Breaking Bad). I’m thinking about canceling my cable soon though, because I’m never home to watch it! There are too many fun things going on this summer to be sitting around inside watching TV 🙂

I love The Bachelorette! But…I think the whole Bentley and masked guy thing is staged. It’s almost too good for TV…very soap opera like. It kind of makes me mad. I think Bentley is just an actor placed there to hurt Ashley’s feelings. I hope she’s not keeping him, or the masked guy, on there because the producers are telling her to.

I agree too Emily! It seems suuuuper staged, I don’t think anyone would really intentionally go on national TV to say/act that way. Although, I mean, he IS — but I feel like it’s just for ratings. You have to have some drama, right. 🙂

I love The Biggest Loser, and basically any show about losing weight. I also love L&O: SVU, Chopped and Weeds. I don’t watch a ton of TV though, so I usually just end up watching reruns!

I said it on Twitter and on your FB post already – but I am really frustrated with the Bachelor’s lack of diversity lately. Everyone looks the same!! Its so boring 🙁
