Benefits of Probiotics + Win A 6-Month Supply of KeVita!

January 21, 2016 by Julie 1,497 Comments

If you love kombucha or deliciously refreshing probiotic drinks, I think you’ll love this afternoon’s giveaway. How does a SIX month supply of KeVita sound?

IMG_0579

As someone who doesn’t really drink soda but loves carbonated beverages, I am a big fan of sparkling water, kombucha and probiotic drinks. The fizz in these drinks is a wonderful change of pace from regular water and knowing that drinking a probiotic beverage is good for my digestive health makes me feel good about sipping on a bottle of something sparkly and slightly tangy.

I don’t know about you but whenever I hear the word “probiotic” I immediately think of yogurt. And then I picture Erin Andrews talking about probiotic supplements in her commercial that seems to be on constant loop.

There’s no denying that probiotics are good for you. They are good bacteria known to support digestive health but according to the Journal of the American Medical Association, studies show that probiotics could be beneficial in helping to fight infection and boost our immune systems. (Right now when everyone around me seems to be getting sick, that’s something I can get behind.)

Kevita Probiotic Drinks

Probiotics work by adding good bacteria back into your stomach. They aid in nutrient absorption and can be found in kefir and yogurt or fermented vegetables like sauerkraut… Or in tasty drinks like KeVita’s Sparking Probiotic Drinks!

KeVita Strawberry Coconut

If you made a resolution to give up soda in 2016 and find yourself struggling a bit, I highly recommend swapping in a bottle of kombucha or a sparkling probiotic beverage. You’ll get the carbonation you crave without all the sugar and may even find yourself feeling more energetic. I truly prefer these drinks over soda and love the way they make me feel.

(Given my love for anything coconut, the Strawberry Acai Coconut is my favorite flavor followed by the Pineapple Coconut. They’re both incredibly refreshing and have a tropical taste to them. Ryan’s favorite is the Mojito Lime Mint Coconut.)

KeVita Sparkling Probiotic Drinks contain beneficial live probiotics (4 billion CFUs) and are handcrafted with organic fruit and whole plant extracts. They’re certified organic, project verified non-GMO, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and kosher. I find myself reaching for one in the late afternoon when I want a slightly sweet little pick-me-up. These drinks feel like a special treat and I love knowing that I’m reaching for something that’s benefitting my body in a positive way.

(Also, just a little side note for my fellow nursing mothers: KeVita maintains that while there is nothing inherently harmful in their drinks for nursing mothers, you should obviously consult with your doctor or alternative health care provider if you have concerns. My doctor gave these drinks the a-okay for me personally but definitely reach out to your doctor with your questions!)

KeVita Giveaway

Now here is your chance to win a SIX MONTH supply of KeVita beverages! Insane, right!? (I wish I could enter this one! Haha!)

KeVita Kombucha
