Bernie Salazar Interview + Giveaway

Ryan, Sadie and I spent the remainder of our morning on a 3.5 mile hike on our favorite bear, alligator and snake-laden trails.

The wildlife we saw on today’s walk was limited to squirrels and lizards. Vicious beasts!

Lunch

On our way home from the trails, we ran a few errands and grabbed the necessary ingredients for homemade pizza. I think Ryan was a little jealous of my delicious looking veggie pizza from last night and he was craving pizza this afternoon.

When we arrived home, we prepared a pizza topped with spinach, pizza sauce, mozzarella, Italian chicken sausage and avocado.

We didn’t add the avocado until the pizza came out of the oven because we were unsure how it would hold up in 475-degree heat.

I ate three slices of the pizza along with a sliced apple.

Even after eating pizza two times in less than 24 hours, I feel like I could easily eat it again for dinner tonight.

You can never have enough of the good stuff!

Bernie Salazar Interview + Snack Smart Giveaway

    My go to quick and easy snack is an apple and peanut butter. I’m also a really big fan of hard boiled eggs with a little herbamare sprinkled on top. Great for salty cravings!

    Some of my favorite healthy snacks are apples with peanut butter, cottage cheese with chopped almonds, veggies and vegan pesto, or just a nice bowl of cereal with soy milk!

    p.s. I’m obsessed with healthy living blogs, and yours is one of my favorites!!

    My favorite go to snack is sliced apples dipped in nut butter with cinnamon and raisins. It’s the perfect pop of protein to get me through my afternoons!

    I just discovered a new favorite. Popped amaranth! You can eat it as a cereal or a topping for a green smoothie or ist plain. It is so much fun to eat.

    my favorite go-to snack is chiobani greek yogurt! i stock up on the pain ones and add whatever mix-ins i have around to switch it up! it never gets old and always leaves me satisfied

    I love bananas…even though they aren’t the healthiest fruit, it’s still a fruit. I also have been loving on dates lately.

    My favorite healthy go-to snack are almonds and apples, though I must say there is a weak spot in my heart for Smart Food Cheddar Popcorn!

      No bake energy bites! They have peanut butter, flaxseed, coconut, and honey! No added sugar!
