Bernie Salazar Interview + Giveaway

Ryan, Sadie and I spent the remainder of our morning on a 3.5 mile hike on our favorite bear, alligator and snake-laden trails.

The wildlife we saw on today’s walk was limited to squirrels and lizards. Vicious beasts!

Lunch

On our way home from the trails, we ran a few errands and grabbed the necessary ingredients for homemade pizza. I think Ryan was a little jealous of my delicious looking veggie pizza from last night and he was craving pizza this afternoon.

When we arrived home, we prepared a pizza topped with spinach, pizza sauce, mozzarella, Italian chicken sausage and avocado.

We didn’t add the avocado until the pizza came out of the oven because we were unsure how it would hold up in 475-degree heat.

I ate three slices of the pizza along with a sliced apple.

Even after eating pizza two times in less than 24 hours, I feel like I could easily eat it again for dinner tonight.

You can never have enough of the good stuff!

Bernie Salazar Interview + Snack Smart Giveaway

    Awesome giveaway! I just tried chocolate avocado pudding and I love it – it might become my new favorite snack. I know it sounds weird, but it’s so good! I actually want to try mixing a tbsp or two of peanut butter in next time, how awesome would that be? 😀

    I am a HUGE snacker, some of my favorites are

    carrots and peanut butter (dont hate it til ya try it)
    sliced apple and peanut butter
    veggies and hummus
    corn chips and salsa
    almonds and raisins

    my favorite healthy snack is a homemade chocolate peanut butter banana protein bar. Making them at home ensures that all ingredients are in their most natural form. Delicious and easy!

    This sounds really weird but my fav healthy snack is pumpkin. I bake it and cut it into cubes to eat later on. Or I will just open a can and have a spoonful with almond butter.

    holy smokes what a giveaway! My favorite healthy snack is probably either yogurt or hummus with veggies. I’ve got some dried chickpeas in the pressure cooker right now so I can make another batch of the tasty stuff. Yum!

    I’m with you on the pizza obsession. I could eat it multiple times a week and never get sick of it. lol. My favorite healthy snack is probably greek yogurt topped with some Love Grown granola!
