Ryan, Sadie and I spent the remainder of our morning on a 3.5 mile hike on our favorite bear, alligator and snake-laden trails.
The wildlife we saw on today’s walk was limited to squirrels and lizards. Vicious beasts!
Lunch
On our way home from the trails, we ran a few errands and grabbed the necessary ingredients for homemade pizza. I think Ryan was a little jealous of my delicious looking veggie pizza from last night and he was craving pizza this afternoon.
When we arrived home, we prepared a pizza topped with spinach, pizza sauce, mozzarella, Italian chicken sausage and avocado.
We didn’t add the avocado until the pizza came out of the oven because we were unsure how it would hold up in 475-degree heat.
I ate three slices of the pizza along with a sliced apple.
Even after eating pizza two times in less than 24 hours, I feel like I could easily eat it again for dinner tonight.
You can never have enough of the good stuff!

My favorite healthy snack is a sliced up apple. It’s so sweet I feel like I’m having a dessert and it always fills me up.

My favorite snack is homemade trail mix! A little bit of raisins, mixed nuts, and yogurt chips!
I’m really lucky because my favorite snack (period) is a healthy snack: Popcorn. And my favorite way to have it is air-popped, though the Whirley Pop provides another easy and healthy way to pop, too. With spices like malt vinegar sea salt, old bay, turmeric, chili powder, garlic salt and more – the possibilities are endless!
Favorite go-to healthy snack is either apple with natural pb/almond butter or frozen banana that had been dipped in melted natural pb/almond butter pre-freeze. Delicious, healthy, and filling. (Frozen banana especially appealing in the summertime, plus a little bit of honey and you’ve got yourself dessert)

My favorite healthy snack is greek yogurt with cinnamon and almonds mixed in. Super filling and packed with protein!
Chobani non fat yogurt with unsweetened apple sauce and lots of cinnamon! I also love Kashi go lean berry crumble however when you eat the entire box in two days it negates the healthy factor so I tend to avoid that one.
Yay snacks!! For something salty, I love edamame!! But if I need something sweet, I love an apple with peanut butter 🙂

this is certainly one heck of a giveaway! My favorite snack food is definitely 94% fat free popcorn i’m obsessed with that stuff! On a funny/not so funny note I had to get my wisdom teeth extracted because I had a popcorn kernel like wedged so deeply in between my tooth and gum and while i still was on laughing gas my dentist was like no more popcorn for you…i literally laughed in his face and told him it was basically its own food group in my food pyramid and that i appreciated his medical opinion but never will give it up ha!

I actually really love to eat a big bowl of Orville Redenbacher Smart POP Kettle Korn as an evening snack. (Delicious and packed with fiber!) As an afternoon snack, though, I love Greek yogurt on toast with a little honey and cinnamon. Sounds odd, but it’s so yummy and filling.
I love almonds and raisins…..so easy and portable too.
