Bernie Salazar Interview + Giveaway

Ryan, Sadie and I spent the remainder of our morning on a 3.5 mile hike on our favorite bear, alligator and snake-laden trails.

The wildlife we saw on today’s walk was limited to squirrels and lizards. Vicious beasts!

Lunch

On our way home from the trails, we ran a few errands and grabbed the necessary ingredients for homemade pizza. I think Ryan was a little jealous of my delicious looking veggie pizza from last night and he was craving pizza this afternoon.

When we arrived home, we prepared a pizza topped with spinach, pizza sauce, mozzarella, Italian chicken sausage and avocado.

We didn’t add the avocado until the pizza came out of the oven because we were unsure how it would hold up in 475-degree heat.

I ate three slices of the pizza along with a sliced apple.

Even after eating pizza two times in less than 24 hours, I feel like I could easily eat it again for dinner tonight.

You can never have enough of the good stuff!

Bernie Salazar Interview + Snack Smart Giveaway

    I love snacking on mixed nuts. A close second would be plain yogurt with slivered almonds, honey, and cinnamon.

    I love protein pudding (T of peanut butter, half scoop protein powder, and almond milk to mix, let chill) and a banana!

    I love snack bars made with peanut butter, oats, unsweetened coconut, dried fruit-juice sweetened cranberries, honey, coconut oil, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, and protein powder. Yum!

    WOW! What a crazy giveaway!

    My favorite snack is a microwaved melty chocolate chip Z-bar with a giant dollop of greek yogurt over the top.

    When i’m too lazy to microwave, roasted unsalted almonds are perfect too, especially the cinnamon sugar ones! 🙂

    I never get tired of apples and peanut butter! And apparently you can get Honeycrisp apples year round out here in California which is reason #78 why I may never leave.

    my favorite go to snack is half an avocado in a sheet on nori, or if im on the go, a lara bar, especially the chocolate chip cookie dough flavor..yum!
