Ryan, Sadie and I spent the remainder of our morning on a 3.5 mile hike on our favorite bear, alligator and snake-laden trails.
The wildlife we saw on today’s walk was limited to squirrels and lizards. Vicious beasts!
Lunch
On our way home from the trails, we ran a few errands and grabbed the necessary ingredients for homemade pizza. I think Ryan was a little jealous of my delicious looking veggie pizza from last night and he was craving pizza this afternoon.
When we arrived home, we prepared a pizza topped with spinach, pizza sauce, mozzarella, Italian chicken sausage and avocado.
We didn’t add the avocado until the pizza came out of the oven because we were unsure how it would hold up in 475-degree heat.
I ate three slices of the pizza along with a sliced apple.
Even after eating pizza two times in less than 24 hours, I feel like I could easily eat it again for dinner tonight.
You can never have enough of the good stuff!

I have about a bajillion go-to healthy snacks! But one of my favourites is mixing equal parts greek yogurt with pumpkin puree, adding some stevia and cinnamon and dipping apple slices in it. Delicious!

I’m recently obsessed with noosa yogurt and granola. So so good!
Given the chilly weather up here in Boston my go to snack is 1/3 dry oatmeal made with 2/3 c fat free milk and fruit (amazzzzinggg with microwaved dole frozen strawberries)! Yes typically a breakfast food but nothing beats a little bowl of piping hot oatmeal to warm you up. It’s wicked good and great for you!
