Ryan, Sadie and I spent the remainder of our morning on a 3.5 mile hike on our favorite bear, alligator and snake-laden trails.
The wildlife we saw on today’s walk was limited to squirrels and lizards. Vicious beasts!
Lunch
On our way home from the trails, we ran a few errands and grabbed the necessary ingredients for homemade pizza. I think Ryan was a little jealous of my delicious looking veggie pizza from last night and he was craving pizza this afternoon.
When we arrived home, we prepared a pizza topped with spinach, pizza sauce, mozzarella, Italian chicken sausage and avocado.
We didn’t add the avocado until the pizza came out of the oven because we were unsure how it would hold up in 475-degree heat.
I ate three slices of the pizza along with a sliced apple.
Even after eating pizza two times in less than 24 hours, I feel like I could easily eat it again for dinner tonight.
You can never have enough of the good stuff!

My favorite healthy snack that always holds me over in between dinner and lunch is a handful of almonds with a mini babybel cheese!
My new fave is Smoothie Girl’s protein muffin thingy…2 T coconut flour, 1/4 c pumpkin, 2 egg whites, 1 T cocoa, stevia (to taste) and 1/2 t baking powder. Nuke for 2 minutes and voila! A cake-like muffin-y delight emerges! It’s my jam
My favorite healthy snack is a fruit smoothie (frozen mixed berries, a banana, some Greek yogurt, some kale, and some almond milk) or sliced apples and peanut butter!
My favorite snack is Chobani Champions honey nana greek yogurt with a HUGE spoonful of peanut butter stirred in. So good!

My favorite healthy snack is some plain Greek yogurt (Chobani is my fave) with some cinnamon and frozen fruits such as blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, and bananas! Yummmm!!!! 🙂

I’d have to go with a Chocolate Peppermint Stick Luna bar or the classic apple and peanut butter. I’m a college student and both of these get me through long afternoons and evenings of studying!
My favorite healthy snack is either popcorn, a banana, string cheese, cottage cheese, or a 1/2 serving of pretzels with a half serving of hummus! YUM! 🙂
I love to slice up cucumbers with salt and some rice wine vinegar 🙂 sprinkle some sesame seeds on top and you have a quick and easy Asian cucumber salad!

My favorite snack is popcorn with a piece of dark chocolate with hazelnuts on the side. Yum! I also like a slice of buttered whole wheat toast with Muenster cheese.
