Ryan, Sadie and I spent the remainder of our morning on a 3.5 mile hike on our favorite bear, alligator and snake-laden trails.
The wildlife we saw on today’s walk was limited to squirrels and lizards. Vicious beasts!
Lunch
On our way home from the trails, we ran a few errands and grabbed the necessary ingredients for homemade pizza. I think Ryan was a little jealous of my delicious looking veggie pizza from last night and he was craving pizza this afternoon.
When we arrived home, we prepared a pizza topped with spinach, pizza sauce, mozzarella, Italian chicken sausage and avocado.
We didn’t add the avocado until the pizza came out of the oven because we were unsure how it would hold up in 475-degree heat.
I ate three slices of the pizza along with a sliced apple.
Even after eating pizza two times in less than 24 hours, I feel like I could easily eat it again for dinner tonight.
You can never have enough of the good stuff!

My favorite snack is a smooth, creamy cup of Fage Greek yogurt with 2 Tbsp. of PB2 swirled in along with crisp, sweet, juicy Fuji apple slices for dipping. This little delicious bowl of heaven is what gets me through my day!

My favorite snack is probably frozen coconut water, sweetened with a bit of stevia and cinnamon and then eaten like a slushy! Soooo delicious!!
My favorite is air-popped popcorn or an apple with pb.
Lately I have been loving oat bran flax pitas topped with low sodium cottage cheese, blueberries, strawberries (if I have them) and a sprinkle of stevia.
I couldn’t decide between my two favorite healthy snacks, so I decided to write about both. The first is my homemade apple sauce. It’s delicious and so easy to make. I like homemade much better than store bought, for one it’s homemade and also I can control how much sugar goes in! My other favorite snack is your Kale Chips! I’ve switched out my regular fat potato chips with Kale Chips! The kale chips gives me that salt crunchy texture and flavor that I am always looking forward to during work but with half the fat and grease than regular potato chips. I hope I win this is an amazing price.
