Bernie Salazar Interview + Giveaway

Ryan, Sadie and I spent the remainder of our morning on a 3.5 mile hike on our favorite bear, alligator and snake-laden trails.

The wildlife we saw on today’s walk was limited to squirrels and lizards. Vicious beasts!

Lunch

On our way home from the trails, we ran a few errands and grabbed the necessary ingredients for homemade pizza. I think Ryan was a little jealous of my delicious looking veggie pizza from last night and he was craving pizza this afternoon.

When we arrived home, we prepared a pizza topped with spinach, pizza sauce, mozzarella, Italian chicken sausage and avocado.

We didn’t add the avocado until the pizza came out of the oven because we were unsure how it would hold up in 475-degree heat.

I ate three slices of the pizza along with a sliced apple.

Even after eating pizza two times in less than 24 hours, I feel like I could easily eat it again for dinner tonight.

You can never have enough of the good stuff!

Bernie Salazar Interview + Snack Smart Giveaway

    LOVE to munch on clementines and dried berry/nut trail mix during class. Super easy to pack and easy to snack on without being super loud during lecture.

    oh em gee your pizza looks amazing, such a sucker for avocado.

    I also overdosed on pizza this weekend!

    I think my favorite snack is a sliced apple with peanut butter or a wasa cracker topped with a laughing cow wedge, roasted chicken slices, and salsa.

    I’m a snackaholic! It’s hard to pick one, so I would say my top three are:
    Greek yogurt with frozen raspberries
    Banana soft serve with peanut flour mixed in
    Hummus with sliced mushroom, carrots, red pepper, and broccoli

    Also, this is the best giveaway ever! Winning this one would easily make up for the fact that I never ever win!!!
