Bernie Salazar Interview + Giveaway

Ryan, Sadie and I spent the remainder of our morning on a 3.5 mile hike on our favorite bear, alligator and snake-laden trails.

The wildlife we saw on today’s walk was limited to squirrels and lizards. Vicious beasts!

Lunch

On our way home from the trails, we ran a few errands and grabbed the necessary ingredients for homemade pizza. I think Ryan was a little jealous of my delicious looking veggie pizza from last night and he was craving pizza this afternoon.

When we arrived home, we prepared a pizza topped with spinach, pizza sauce, mozzarella, Italian chicken sausage and avocado.

We didn’t add the avocado until the pizza came out of the oven because we were unsure how it would hold up in 475-degree heat.

I ate three slices of the pizza along with a sliced apple.

Even after eating pizza two times in less than 24 hours, I feel like I could easily eat it again for dinner tonight.

You can never have enough of the good stuff!

Bernie Salazar Interview + Snack Smart Giveaway

    I’m addicted to clementines! Especially this time of year when it’s yucky and cold outside. You can grab a clementine for a quick snack and a little sunshine! They just taste like summer to me!

    I love my pb, banana, chocolate protein powder, dark chocolate cocoa, and almond milk smoothie!
    But, when I am feeling lazy… definitely an apple or banana with peanut butter 🙂

    The best snack for me and my family would have to be grapes rinsed with a pkg of sugar free jello sprinkled and tossed on top!! Really you should try this!! There is no way you can eat just one!!

    I’m a sucker for salty/sweet snacks, so my recent go to has been dark chocolate almonds. Mmm… (those are healthy, right??)
