Ryan, Sadie and I spent the remainder of our morning on a 3.5 mile hike on our favorite bear, alligator and snake-laden trails.
The wildlife we saw on today’s walk was limited to squirrels and lizards. Vicious beasts!
Lunch
On our way home from the trails, we ran a few errands and grabbed the necessary ingredients for homemade pizza. I think Ryan was a little jealous of my delicious looking veggie pizza from last night and he was craving pizza this afternoon.
When we arrived home, we prepared a pizza topped with spinach, pizza sauce, mozzarella, Italian chicken sausage and avocado.
We didn’t add the avocado until the pizza came out of the oven because we were unsure how it would hold up in 475-degree heat.
I ate three slices of the pizza along with a sliced apple.
Even after eating pizza two times in less than 24 hours, I feel like I could easily eat it again for dinner tonight.
You can never have enough of the good stuff!

My favorite healthy snack would be a smoothie (I usually use just fresh fruit & greek yogurt). I also recently discovered Kale chips–really good!
I would have to say my favorite healthy snack is Greek yogurt (preferably blueberry) with some berries stirred in. Or a scoop of peanut better, either on toast or alone.
My favorite snacks as of late are a (slightly) frozen banana with peanut butter, or a cup of apple cinnamon Chobani with chia seeds stirred in!

Wow! Favorite snack, hands down is almonds and dried cranberries. Sometimes I throw in a few chocolate chips if I am feeling I need a little sweetness. I eat them everyday and keep them at my desk aka “friend bait.”
