While I’m en route to Savannah, I thought you guys might be interested in participating in an awesome giveaway, featuring tons of amazing items from Chavrie and Crate & Barrel.

The Holiday Sweet Treats with Chavrie giveaway is coming at you courtesy of Chavrie, the company that makes some fantastic goat cheese that is great in a variety of recipes, including dessert recipes like crème brulee, shortbread cookies, or maple goat cheese dip!

I’ve used the delicious goat cheese in numerous recipes, including:

Goat Cheese and Butternut Squash Barley Risotto

I’ve been loving maple lately, so I think the first thing I’d make would have to to be Maple syrup and Chevrie goat cheese!

I plan on trying out the Goat Cheese and Butternut Squash Barley Risotto recipe. Looks very savory with a touch of sweetness!

And then for dessert, Maple Syrup and Chavrie® Goat Cheese! So easy!

For the dessert, I think the Maple Syrup and Goat Cheese dip looks yummy…but that may just be because of the shortbread cookies…cookies dipped in dip? Yummmm.

I saw a recipe in a magazine the other day (I think Southern Living, or maybe Country Living?) using goat cheese in a pumpkin-shaped cheese ball that I thought would be perfect for a fall party or to put out for people to snack on before the meal on Thanksgiving.

I LOVE goat cheese so much! I try to eat it in as much as I can. I keep thinking of this goat cheese and butternut squash mac and cheese recipe…

I’ve never used goats cheese in a desert, what a good idea! Those shortbread cookies look amazing.

I’ve never been a big fan of cheese but lately I’ve been getting more into it! I’ve never tried goat cheese but people rave about it so I need to try it soon. I would love to try out your goat cheese and honey dip (I love any excuse to eat vanilla wafers). All the recipes on the chavrie site look good but I’m a huge fan of apple strudel!

My friends mother made a goat cheese pesto one evening that I have been DYING to try (I would share the recipe, of course). Looking on the Chavrie site, I would totally do the pumpkin panna cotta. First, I’ve been wanting to try to make a panna cotta, second, PUMPKIN! I love pumpkin and the savory cheese with the pumpkin would be amazing

I would love to incorporate goat cheese into a cupcake recipe, maybe into the icing as well. I have a recipe book that calls for mascarpone into the icing, so it’s somewhat similar!

I’m not gonna lie, hiding inside my fridge right now is a large butternut squash that has been glaring at me for days. It looked so good in the store but I’m having the hardest time deciding on what to make with it, there are so many options!

The butternut squash and goat cheese risotto instantly made my mouth water and I will definitely be trying my hand at that this weekend!

Also, the creme brulee with goat cheese on the website looks wonderful so that would be something to accomplish.
