November 4, 2011 by Julie 1,245 Comments

While I’m en route to Savannah, I thought you guys might be interested in participating in an awesome giveaway, featuring tons of amazing items from Chavrie and Crate & Barrel.

The Holiday Sweet Treats with Chavrie giveaway is coming at you courtesy of Chavrie, the company that makes some fantastic goat cheese that is great in a variety of recipes, including dessert recipes like crème brulee, shortbread cookies, or maple goat cheese dip!

I’ve used the delicious goat cheese in numerous recipes, including:

Goat Cheese and Butternut Squash Barley Risotto

  • What recipe featuring goat cheese would you most like to try?
  • If you win the Holiday Sweet Treats with Chavrie giveaway, which dessert recipe from the list of recipes available on Chavrie’s website (here!) would you make first?

I will randomly select winner on Monday morning. Good luck!

Hey Julie! Good luck on your run today!!! I wish I can work up the courage to do that one day too! You’re a great inspiration! And I checked out Chavrie’s website and all of the recipes look great! I think the one that caught my eye the most is the cupcake with chocolate frosting and goat cheese! Also your Barley risotto looks delish!! I have a whole thing of goat cheese in my fridge and looks like a found some new recipes to try! My favourite goat cheese recipe is a spinach salad. It’s so simple you just need spinach, blackberries, tomatoes, goat cheese and a balsamic vinaigrette. Put everything together and it’s amazing!!

Thanks for the contest. Here are my answers:
I would try the goat cheese and butternut squash (have a food processor now so am not intimated by the squash.
and for holiday sweets, I would try the Easter bread. Never made it before but enjoy it and it brings back memories. Plus it’s not just for Easter 🙂

    1. I would love to try your goat cheese and honey dip recipe. I think that any time you mix sweet and tangy together it always creates something delicious! Personally, I would probably serve the dip with Nilla Waffers.

    2. I would be most likely to try Cupcake with Chocolate Frosting & Chavrie Goat Cheese because I am in the process of opening my own cupcake store and the purpose of my store is to step outside of the box when it comes to cupcakes (and all desserts for that matter)!

This giveaway is literally the best one yet! You’re awesome 🙂
