Fast Friday

March 11, 2011 by Julie 25 Comments

Goodness it has been a busy Friday. At least a busy Friday means a fast Friday. The weekend is almost here!

I was so immersed in my work today that I actually worked right through my normal lunch time and didn’t even realize it until an hour later. This is very unlike me as I basically eat at the exact same time every day. Like clock work, baby!

When I finally broke for lunch, I enjoyed another pulled pork sandwich using leftovers from Monday night’s dinner to make a pulled pork sandwich.

Friday Food

Porky

On the side I also had a sliced yellow pepperand a cup of 2 percent Fage Greek yogurt, sweetened with honey.

A BBQ pulled pork sandwich may be one of my all-time favorite sandwiches… second only to the French dip sandwich from Houston’s.  So good!

Strawberries dipped in Nutella DOES sound good 🙂

So does pulled pork. Is it just me or do leftovers tastes ten times better a few days later? Enjoy your day!

Fage 2% is the stuff dreams are made of!

Pulled pork is awesome, but I think I like pulled chicken even better! Friends of ours own a sauce company, and their barbecue sauce is OUT of this world – molasses-ey and smokey and just perfect on anything “grilled!”

Yum, I love pulled pork sandwiches! All to often though, they are too dry. That’s that BBQ sauce is for! 😛

Good luck with the Wicked lottery!! I still haven’t seen it – I’m dying to though! ALSO, on my plane ride on Wednesday, I sat next to a man who had a vizsla! (He showed me pictures of it on his iPad) I immediately thought of Sadie, of course! 😛

That sounds yummy. Fridays during Lent always force me to be creative since no meat is allowed.
