Food Fuels My Brain

December 28, 2010 by Julie 12 Comments

My goodness! Where has the time gone?

Today totally slipped away from me as I basically drowned in a sea of edits at work. Phew! At least a jam-packed day makes the time fly!

It also leads me to the candy jar at work…

Candy, My Love

That was one of probably five trips to the front desk for candy that I took today.

Fortunately I did eat something nutritious at lunchtime.

Lunchtime!

I made myself a sloppy joe remix sandwich and served it alongside grape tomatoes.

Mmm, Beefy

The Whole Shebang

A hot tumbler of Mighty Leaf organic mint melange tea warmed mah belly.

I also packed an apple to eat with lunch but devoured it with my morning snack because I was feeling awfully snacky.

What can I say? Food fuels my brain!

Back to work I goooo!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

Yummm I love chocolate and mint anythings right now!! I’ve been putting peppermint extract in my hot chocolate, green monsters…. pretty much anything that contains chocolate and it’s definitely one of my fave combos. Have a great afternoon! 🙂

This day really did go by super fast! I was really busy today too. Ghiradelli chocolate is so good! That sloppy joe remix really does look tasty. I think I might need to try making that 🙂
