Healthy Holidays Giveaway Week: Day Six, Part 1

December 8, 2012 by Julie 1,639 Comments

It’s day six of Healthy Holidays Giveaway Week, but just because this week of fitness-related giveaways is coming to a close doesn’t mean the giveaways are losing steam!

Healthy Holidays Giveaway Week

Check back later today for another giveaway. It’s the weekend, so why not have a little more holiday fun!?

Now let’s get you guys some new kicks, shall we?

New Balance Minimus 20v3 Giveaway

This month, New Balance debuted the Minumus 20v3 training shoe and one PBF reader will win a pair of their own!

Minimus_Training_v3

The shoe is ideal for cross-functional workouts like CrossFit and features a reduced midsole/outsole heel height of 4mm to help provide greater stability to safely perform lifts at the gym.

Plus, the pink and black color combination is pretty darn cute!

To enter this giveaway, please leave a comment below telling me why you’d like to give these shoes a try! For an extra entry, you can tweet some variation of the following:

  • Hoping to win a pair of @NewBalance Minimus training shoes from @PBFingers http://ow.ly/fT5PA

Please be sure to leave a separate comment telling me about your tweet so it is counted!

I’ll randomly select a winner on Monday morning.

Good luck!

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

I would love to give these shoes a try. I started CrossFit a month ago after 4 years away from it due to a major hip and back injury (not from CrossFit). Surgery, disability retirement at the age of 26, one child, and 4 years later I am finally back to working out in a manner that challenges me and makes me a better wife and mother. I have been making my running shoes “work” for my workouts but really need to invest in some shoes better designed for what I am doing; as a full-time graduate student and mother it is a challenge to find time for me and find extra money in the budget to do all of this.

I just started the Insanity program earlier this week, and could really use a better pair of shoes to do it in. I only have running shoes and REALLY old sneakers.

My co-worker is obsessed with her minimalist shoes, specifically the NB Minumus and has been talking about them for a year and a half! I’ve wanted to try a pair but I haven’t been able to justify buying another pair of shoes just yet : )

I would love to try these because for Crossfit, I alternate between (very old/worn out) different version of the Minumus for metcons and (twice as old) Nike Frees for running heavy days. These look like they would fit the bill for both kind of days!!
