Healthy Holidays Giveaway Week: Day Six, Part 2

December 8, 2012 by Julie 539 Comments

And we’re back with yet another giveaway!

Healthy Holidays Giveaway Week

I hope that this giveaway will excite my running friends out there!

ZOOMA Race Entry Giveaway

I am currently in the process of training for the ZOOMA Florida half marathon and reached out to the women behind the race series to see if they would give away a free race entry to one of their races.

They agreed and one of you will win a free race entry into the ZOOMA race of your choice! You pick the destination and race distance!

ZOOMA

The mission behind ZOOMA races is “to inspire women to live healthy, happy & active lives.” The women behind the race series organize boutique races in beautiful destinations with a “fit girls’ weekend” atmosphere. They’re big on encouraging all women to lead active lives and their races strive to maintain an atmosphere that is welcoming and encouraging to runners of all different fitness levels.

ZOOMA currently offers races in the following destinations:

  • Amelia Island, Florida – 5K, Half marathon (1/19/13)
  • Bastrop/Austin, Texas – 5K, Half marathon (3/23/13)
  • Annapolis, Maryland – 10K, Half marathon (6/1/13)
  • Cape Cod, Massachusetts – 10K, Half marathon (9/28/13)
  • Great Lakes – 10K, Half marathon (TBD)

ZOOMA is also teaming up with Every Mother Counts in 2013, an advocacy and mobilization campaign that aims to increase education and support for maternal mortality reduction globally. (Check out their charity page for more details!)

To enter this giveaway, please leave a comment below telling me which ZOOMA race and race distance you would like to run!

I will randomly select a winner on Monday morning.

Good luck!

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

    I’ve never run a marathon!

I went to school in Boston and never got to go to Cape Cod – I’d love to see it in the fall and try something new.

I live in Jacksonville, FL, so Amelia Island is like a next door neighbor. Even though Amelia Island is nearby, it’s so beautiful that I feel like I’m on vacation whenever I’m over that way. It would be really fun to participate in the 5K there.

I would absolutely love to run the Annapolis half marathon. I just ran my first half marathon 2 weeks ago in Annapolis and completely loved it. I think signing up for a half in June (a day before my birthday) would help me to stay in great running shape and would keep me sane while I study for the medical student Step 1 test.

    This is a great giveaway!

I would run Cape Cod or Great Lakes. I live where it’s cold in the winter and I hate training on the treadmill so I would pick one that would allow me to do my training outdoors. Training for a January or March race in Iowa is not for me! I would totally do the 1/2 marathon. I love that distance.
