Healthy Holidays Giveaway Week: Day Six, Part 2

December 8, 2012 by Julie 539 Comments

And we’re back with yet another giveaway!

Healthy Holidays Giveaway Week

I hope that this giveaway will excite my running friends out there!

ZOOMA Race Entry Giveaway

I am currently in the process of training for the ZOOMA Florida half marathon and reached out to the women behind the race series to see if they would give away a free race entry to one of their races.

They agreed and one of you will win a free race entry into the ZOOMA race of your choice! You pick the destination and race distance!

ZOOMA

The mission behind ZOOMA races is “to inspire women to live healthy, happy & active lives.” The women behind the race series organize boutique races in beautiful destinations with a “fit girls’ weekend” atmosphere. They’re big on encouraging all women to lead active lives and their races strive to maintain an atmosphere that is welcoming and encouraging to runners of all different fitness levels.

ZOOMA currently offers races in the following destinations:

  • Amelia Island, Florida – 5K, Half marathon (1/19/13)
  • Bastrop/Austin, Texas – 5K, Half marathon (3/23/13)
  • Annapolis, Maryland – 10K, Half marathon (6/1/13)
  • Cape Cod, Massachusetts – 10K, Half marathon (9/28/13)
  • Great Lakes – 10K, Half marathon (TBD)

ZOOMA is also teaming up with Every Mother Counts in 2013, an advocacy and mobilization campaign that aims to increase education and support for maternal mortality reduction globally. (Check out their charity page for more details!)

To enter this giveaway, please leave a comment below telling me which ZOOMA race and race distance you would like to run!

I will randomly select a winner on Monday morning.

Good luck!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

I would love to run the Greak Lakes race, as that is closest to home. If I could make it to travel, the Cape Cod (or any of them) would be beautiful!!! I am currently loving the half marathon distance right now, so that is probably what I would aim for.

Hopefully, not too late, but I would do Cape Cod in September as I’ve been wanting to go the East Coast in the fall. I am currently training for my first 1/2 so I would do that.

I’m here in Baltimore so Annapolis it is! I’ve only run one 10K before and did not have a good experience so have been scared to try it again. This could be the motivation I need!

I live in PA but Maryland is pretty close, so I would run the Annapolis 10k as part of the half training I’ll be doing around that time!

I have a 5K and 10K on my list of goals for 2013 – I’d love to make the Cape Cod 10K the place where I can achieve that goal! I know being signed up will motivate me to push myself and train.

I would love to race the 5k at Amelia Island! I’ve never run a race before and my best friend (a cross-country runner) is always trying to talk me into trying one! We’re both law students and so finding a motivation to put down the books and hit the pavement can be hard, but I think a fun girls weekend in Amelia Island would do the trick!
