After Chase was born, Ryan and I felt so fortunate to receive some wonderful gifts, meals and cards from our closest friends and family. One of the coolest gifts we received was also one of the most useful… and it spawned my love for adorable diapers very early on in Chase’s life!
Our friends Will and Alex sent us a banana diaper cake from The Honest Company and I couldn’t get over how cute Chase’s tiny banana booty looked in the diapers. I knew enough about The Honest Company’s products to feel like I was putting something safe on my new baby’s body and the fact that the diapers were ridiculously cute was icing on the cake (errr hiney?).

I love the Honest Company! I’ve used a handful of their cleaning products, and love how well they work (and how great they smell!) I really do try to be conscientious about using environmentally friendly and non-toxic cleaning products where I can, and Honest really does make it super affordable and convenient since their products are at our local Target now. We’ve got a little one coming in February, so I’d use the bundle on newborn diapers most likely! 🙂

Also, full disclosure: blow-out diapers happen no matter which brand you are using (believe me, my husband and I have tried them all). Thankfully, it stopped being a problem for us when our son transitioned to eating solids. Also, if you have a blow-out in one of your favorite outfits for Chase, you can actually wash everything out with the sprayer attachment on your sink (eww, gross, I know) or on a laundry sink (if you’re lucky enough to have one). That prevents you from having to use harsh detergents to get the outfit looking good again or throwing out a great outfit. And for me, there was a huge “I saved the day!” sense of accomplishment. =]
