House Dreaming

September 6, 2010 by Julie 27 Comments

Woohoo for no work today!

Even though I didn’t have to wake up at 5:30 a.m. to hit the gym before work, Ryan and I did get a good workout in around 8 a.m.

Today’s workout went a lil’ somethin’ like this:

  • 15 min. warm up on the elliptical

Three sets of 15 reps of the following:

  • Leg extension
  • Prone leg curl
  • Leg press
  • Deadlifts
  • Incline bicep curls
  • Shoulder raises
  • Tricep extensions
  • Bridges
  • Crunches

After our workout, I ate a quick breakfast that included a juicy nectarine and a cheesy quesadilla prepared on a whole wheat tortilla.

It was a super-fast which was perfect since I wanted to get out the door quickly to join Ryan and Sadie on a walk.

We opped in the car with Sadie for our morning walk today to head to Winter Park to complete about 2 miles around a large lake. We like driving to new areas for our walks with the dog sometimes because it’s fun to explore different parts of Orlando and check out ridiculously huge houses we could never afford. 😀

For example…

O4978792

Good news! They just knocked $200,000 off the asking price of this home, so this cozy cottage could be yours for only $2.3 million. Get it while it’s hot! 😉

Once we were done house dreaming, we headed home.

I prepared quite the unusual snack.

I made tofu yogurt pudding by combining half of a pack of Nasoya light firm tofu and 3/4 of a box of instant chocolate pudding mix in the food processor.

It was pretty strange, but oddly delicious! It’s definitely not a snack for everyone, but I downed my entire bowl and loved every bite. 😀

I’m off to change into my bathing suit and meet my friend Laurel for some pool time before I head to the mall to make some returns.

Happy Labor Day!

At least it’s 2.3 mil for a HOUSE. In NYC that gets you a nice two-bedroom apartment in a doorman building. Nutso!!

That snack actually sounds pretty tasty!! Love me some tofu 🙂 Enjoy your day off!

Unless you have like 20 kids, why would anyone ever need a house that enormous!?!? They’re still fun to look at though. 😉

I love House Dreaming! It cracks me up to think about how some people think that $2.3 million for a house is a bargain! LOL! 🙂 PS – That tofu pudding is quite the combo – I don’t think I am brave enough to try THAT. 😉

    Hey,
lately I’ve had a lot of sweet tofu desserts. I usually blend tofu with banana and a tsp of cashew butter and a hint of sweetener…delicious and probably something one yould do with peanut butter too….I’ve only tried it with cocoa powder and that works great too.
I figured that might also be something you’d like!
