I've Gotta Go Back

April 6, 2010 by Julie 23 Comments

Yesterday when Ryan and I were walking out to our car after buying our groceries, he stopped cold and said, “I’ve gotta go back. I forgot my peanut butter.”

Though I was anxious to get home and make dinner, I completely understood his need for pb.

What is something you need to buy every week at the grocery store?

I always purchase Greek yogurt and fresh veggies. They’re a must for me!

Breakfast

Peanut butter made its way into my breakfast this morning.

I topped a toasted sweet wheat Alternative Bagel with creamy peanut butter.

I <3 Peanut Butter

Naturally I also had a peanut butter finger (or two).

Breakfast also included a bowl of fresh strawberries, which were on sale for $1.25/pint yesterday!

Sliced Strawberries

Any breakfast that includes peanut butter is a good one in my book. 😀

Workout

This morning Ryan woke up before me to get to the gym earlier and when he came back he said the weather outside seemed like perfect running weather.

Say no more!

I leashed Sadie up for a run and we covered just over five miles. She was as chipper as ever!

I love that the cold weather is finally behind us and I can run outside in the mornings again. I get so bored on a treadmill and really enjoy the peacefulness of a morning run outside.

I hope your Tuesday is off to a good start!

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

I wish I had time to exercise in the morning, I just have to be at work too darn early. I always buy apples or bananas, and cereal.

Greek yogurt, spinach, and fruit are always on the list. Whole milk for the hubs is always on there, too. That’s his PB, I guess 🙂

Greek yogurt and coffee. I could live off the two if I had to.

I’ve been running outside this week too, but sometimes I miss the treadmill. I’m less sore when I run on the treadmill.

    Have a great day!

Blueberries–I would go back for them. I like to put them in my oatmeal every morning! If I was out of PB, I would definitely go back for that-I eat it every day!

I have a lot of food staples that I must have on stock! They include: fresh veggies for salads, bananas, yogurt, almond milk, soy cheese, Ezekiel bread, oatmeal, and Quorn cutlets!

My must need for every grocery trip is bananas! I probably go 2-3 times a week just for bananas! It’s crazy but I can’t get enough of them!
