Let’s Talk Shirts

June 17, 2011 by Julie 94 Comments

Remember how I was torn between several different meal options at breakfast this morning?

Well, this afternoon, I was hit with the same indecisive feelings. I couldn’t figure out what I wanted. No veggies sounded appealing. No sandwich sounded good.

One thing that always sounds good?

oats in a jar 014

Peanut butter!

And I just so happened to have a nearly empty jar on hand, so I make a batch of chocolate oats in a jar.

oats in a jar 016

oats in a jar 017

I added some chocolate protein powder and cocoa powder to standard oats that I cooked in milk on the stovetop and loved every single chocolate and peanut buttery bite.

I’ll eat some vegetables later, I promise.

Time for some t-shirt talk!

PBF T-Shirts

As you know, I am in the process of designing and ordering peanut butter-themed t-shirts. I think our intense love of peanut butter is something we should all shout from the rooftops and I’ve had a bunch of different peanut buttery slogans swimming around in my mind for more than a year now.

It’s time to slap those slogans on some shirts and show our peanut butter love with pride!

Since I want greater control over the design and quality of the shirts (no boxy Hanes t-shirts over here!), I’m going to order a bunch of shirts at one time and hold inventory in my apartment and ship them to you guys myself. Since I don’t want to be swimming in shirts for years to come, I want to make sure I order shirts you guys love!

If you have a minute, I would really appreciate your input in the following survey so I can take your responses into consideration and get crackin’ on this project!

  • Question One:

Here are pictures of the two styles I am deciding between:

T-shirt

purple rush

Tank top

tank

Now, which do you prefer?

[polldaddy poll=5152085]

  • Question Two:

Color swatches:

colors

Which color do you like best?

[polldaddy poll=5152071]

  • Question Three:

[polldaddy poll=5152054]

Thank you so, so much for your feedback. This is going to help me a ton!

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

I like the tank top! It would be great for working out because the cut of it works well w/ a sports bra.

I love both but I vote the T shirt just because I feel you can wear it more places and through more seasons 😉

I love the purple the best but pink is my second choice.

Julie, I would really love shirts that are made not of cotton but a material similar to running shirts, even if they are a bit more expensive.

I think we should have tanks because what’s the point of working out if you can’t show off your toned arms? Plus summer is around the corner!

Loooove this!!! Totally voted 🙂 Also! Have you thought about adding the word “some” to “my heart’s a flutter for peanut butter” so it reads “my heart’s a flutter for some peanut butter”??? For some reason, i think that flows better/reads better… just a thought!

I have days like that too–just nothing sounds good! But remember, a day without getting your 5-a-day is no big deal. It all evens out in the end. One day, I’ll maybe have 3 or 4 vegetables… the next I could have 8!

I think you should look into making running/work out shirts instead of just cotton. I would love a wicking material so I could wear it working out.

    Thanks!
