Pizza Burger!

November 3, 2009 by Julie 11 Comments

Today’s lunch was as easy as 1, 2, 3.

1. Arnold’s whole wheat sandwich thin

2. MorningStar Farms tomato and basil pizza burger

3. Fresh spinach

Pizza Burger

This Italian burger was a veggie delight! Full of flavor and lots of vegetables.

I love veggie burgers and this is one of my favorites. Mozzarella cheese is found throughout the patty and the seasonings are fragrant and tasty. Not bad for a break room lunch!

Thanksgiving Potluck

Today we received an office email about the annual Thanksgiving potluck. This year it’s taking place on the Monday before Thanksgiving. Since I wasn’t here last year, I am quite excited to taste the goodies and make a delicious dessert to bring. I signed up to bring a turtle pumpkin pie.

I found the recipe for turtle pumpkin pie last month in a magazine and tore it out, thinking I’d make it for a holiday gathering. This seems like the perfect opportunity!

What do you typically make for holiday potlucks?

I have this recipe, actually it looks like the same picture you used!!! I made it this weekend and it was delicious.

I don’t know if it’s the same recipe you have. If it is – you’re going to love it. It’s great. If it’s not the same recipe – you can combine your recipe and this one (Idk, if you do this, but I combine recipes all the time and make my own versions) =) Either way – Good Luck!! xoxo

Yum to both the veggie burger and the turtle pumpkin pie!!

I’m making Ina Garten’s jalepeno cheddar cornbread for the second year in a row for my Thanksgiving work luncheon 🙂 For Thanksgiving at my inlaws, I’m going to try a pumpkin cream cheese roll or a pumpkin cheesecake! And probably some sides too 🙂

I bring Peanut Butter Fudge. Totally different thing for everyone. IF IT IS A DINNER, then I bring HungryGirls noodle free lazagna.
I am actually planning to bring the fudge to two celebrations so far.
