Plain Jane

February 4, 2010 by Julie 16 Comments

Fun fact: Sadie’s middle name is Jane. 🙂

"Yeah, Jane is My Middle Name... So What!?"

Does  your pet have a middle name?

My lunch today was a Plain Jane sandwich. Nice ‘n’ simple.

Chicken Sandwich

  • Arnold whole wheat sandwich thin
  • Deli sliced rotisserie chicken breast
  • Spicy mustard
  • Plum tomato
  • Melted cheddar cheese

Thursday's Lunch

Mid Day Meal

On the side I enjoyed a couple of dill pickles and carrot sticks.

Whenever I open a new jar of pickles, I always think of Ellen’s stand-up routine about how ridiculously full the jars are. “I wish they packed potato chips the way they pack pickles!”

Packed Pickles

She’s hysterical. 😀

    Ellen’s so funny 🙂

Jack’s full name is Jackson Drew. Drew was the name the shelter gave him when they found him, but it was also my now husband’s roomate’s name at the time- I liked the name, but that would have been weird!!

Those pickles look delish! I just bought some today and I wish I brought some for lunch! Have you seen those little individually wrapped little pickles? They are mini dills in a container like applesauce. Good stuff!

I love pickles but not sweet ones…same goes for relish. I am not a sweet relish girl! That’s funny that Sadie has a middle name. I guess it makes sense but I have just never thought to give my pet a middle name!

My pet doesn’t have a middle name…but his registered pure breed name is “Sir Diesel von Chocolate.” Ha, funny huh?

I love simple sandwiches…they are the best. Today I had PB &J. 🙂

lol…our dogs have middle names too, but they’re kind of strange: Eloise “Cattledog” Lowe (my maiden name) and Baxter P. Weber (my married name). The “P” has stood for a variety of things, like Patrick, Pee, Poop, and Party.

We spend way too much time with our dogs.
