Shop (Healthy!) ‘Til You Drop

February 16, 2011 by Julie 930 Comments

Approximately two weeks ago, I received a package in the mail from iHerb.com. I was contacted by the company and offered a $50 shopping spree on their site and jumped at the chance  to stock up on some goodies I was dying to try…

Like chia seeds!

Chia for Mia!

And wheat berries!

Wheat Berry Bonanza

And coconut butter!

Artisana Coconut Butter

Ryan and I finished the entire jar of coconut butter in three days. We’re special. And it really is that delicious.

I loved perusing iHerb’s website because it’s a clean, no-frills website that offers a wide variety of brand-name natural products.

In the end, I nabbed the following for $50:

  • Nature’s Answer chia seeds
  • Bob’s Red Mill soft white wheat berries
  • Artisana coconut butter
  • Kashi TLC Honey Toasted 7-Grain bars
  • Now Foods Pistachios
  • Nurture Inc. Strawberry Puffs
  • 2 sample packets coconut butter (1 chocolate, 1 organic raw)

I can honestly say I loved every single product I selected! Seeing as how I received all of these goodies about two weeks ago and only the chia seeds and wheat berries remain, I’d say I liked ’em juuust fine.

And now for the best part of this post!

iHerb.com is offering one reader a $50 shopping spree of their own! Woo!

Now you can stock up on healthy goodies and we can talk about our shared love of chia seeds because I just know you’ll love ’em if you haven’t tried them yet.

To enter this giveaway, simply comment on this post telling me about one item you’d select as part of your shopping spree on iHerb.com if you won this giveaway.

I will randomly select a winner tomorrow afternoon. Good luck!

(P.S. The Fashion page was updated today!)

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

The chia seeds and coconut butter! I’ve been wanting to try both of them for ages and I’m sure they would spruce up my typical redundant breakfasts in the dorm room!

I would try Chia Seeds. They are so expensive. I have told myself that the health benefits outweigh the cost but every time I go to the store I just can’t bring myself to purchase them.

I would love to try sooo many things on this site!!! It’d be nice to have some good healthy staples in my dorm, since so many of the foods that I love are too expensive for my college budget. I’d also probably get one of the yummy candles they sell!! Best way to make any room smell good, I think.

I would like to try the coconut butter since you gave it rave reviews….As well as the Lundberg Rice Chips for snacks, and some Kashi Bars for breakfast.

Honestly, I have no problem spending money on quality items, but I I can’t justify spending money without knowing what these foods taste like.

If all this food is as good as you say, then I could see myself becoming a regular customer of iHerb! Thanks!
