Slacker

August 13, 2011 by Julie 55 Comments

I’m totally slacking on the food pictures today, but sometimes we all need a break.

Plus, me eating a cupcake for breakfast and cold leftover ribs and a buttload of cinnamon sugar pita chips for lunch doesn’t exactly make for beautiful photography, so I figured I would take a blogging breather and instead share with you some of the adorable animal pictures my sister and I fell in love with on Pinterest on our side-by-side laptops today.

Yes, I got her addicted to Pinterest, too. Smile

Here are our favorite finds of the day…

cute piglet

My undying love for the movie Babe is just solidified by this adorable piglet.

praying otter

Dear Lord, please give me an otter as adorable as this one.

boy vizsla

I’ve selected this little vizsla, Fred, to be Sadie’s male suitor.

giraffe

I had no idea baby giraffes were so freakin’ cute!

hamster

I’m not gonna lie, I see a little bit of myself in this hamster.

baby orangutan

Hey,  looks delicious to me too, buddy.

***

And I wasn’t totally unproductive on the blog today… I updated the Fashion page! Smile

Hope you’re enjoying your Saturday. See ya after dinner!

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

Ha, so cute! I’m such a dork that I will google pictures of baby animals when I need a smile or when I’m bored. Koalas and penguins are some of my favorites.

Me too! Piglets are the cutest.
Not to be dramatic or anything but I was a litle grossed out that you mentioned eating leftover ribs and then the first baby animal photo shared is of a cute lil’ piglet. I realize that I recognized that because of my vegetarian mindset. Just sayin’, and with all due respect.

GAH. This is unbearable. I have such an unhealthy obsession with baby animals. Today I went to this dairy/petting zoo combo (a.k.a. The Happiest Place On Earth) and they had KITTENS! Practically just born, smaller-than-the-palm-of-your-hand kittens! I died. Then I came home and saw this post and whoa. So much cuteness in one day.
