thredUP Giveaway! (My Fav Site for Quality Secondhand Clothes)

November 30, 2016 by Julie 1,024 Comments

You guys I have one heck of an awesome giveaway for you today from one of my most-visited sites on the Internet that you’ll surely recognize if you’ve been a PBF reader for more than a hot second. Truth be told, I had to sift through numerous pages on my blog to find out when I first mentioned thredUP because I’ve been using it for so long. (Turns out I first became a fan back in the summer of 2014 and thredUP made its blog debut in my 44th Things I’m Loving Friday feature.)

I was absolutely thrilled when the company reached out to me about partnering together for a giveaway on the blog because it is truly one of my favorite websites out there for incredibly affordable clothing.

thredUP coupon code and giveaway

thredUP is my go-to resource for high quality secondhand clothes, shoes, accessories and handbags and while I’ve been using the site for more than two years for myself, after Chase was born I fell in love with it all over again thanks to its incredible selection of like-new (and often brand new!) children’s clothing and accessories.

thredup toddler clothes

I love ordering from thredUP because I know that I will receive a beautifully packaged box of clothes (they wrap everything up in tissue paper and attach their own tags so it really does feel special!) and their return policy is wonderful! I search for my favorite brands (Free People, lululemon, Kate Spade, Zara, ASOS, etc.) and am always so impressed with the selection. The items are up to 90% off the original retail price and always feel like a steal!

I personally prefer to search thredUP when I am looking for something specific because they have SO much stuff. I was on a big-time romper kick this summer and regularly perused the rompers and jumpsuits section of thredUP in my size and was able to nab a handful of great finds for way less than I’d pay if I bought them brand new.

Here’s a look at one of my random summertime thredUP hauls:

thredup summer

(An assortment of Ralph Lauren/Baby Gap clothes for Chase and a Dolce Vita romper, comfy Free People pants and Gap sandals for me!)

thredup romper

DV Dolce Vita Romper (thredUP price: $26.99 / Retail value: $95) Victoria’s Secret Bikini Top: (thredUP price: $5.99 / Retail value: $18)

And here’s a quick rundown of a small handful of the items I’ve purchased from thredUP over the years:

Julie thredup

Old Navy Puffer Vest: (thredUP price: $10.99 / Retail value: $40) Lululemon Crossbody Bag: (thredUP price: $48 / Retail value: $119)

thredup chambray

Forever 21 Chambray Tie Crop Top (thredUP price: $7.99 / Retail value: $27) / Neon Marc Jacobs Crossbody Purse (thredUP price: $80.99 / Retail value: $258)

yumi kim thredup dress

On me: Yumi Kim Dress (thredUP price: $30 / Retail value: $143) / On Chase: Carters Polo + Carters Pants (thredUP price: $5 + $7)

lululemon thredup

Lululemon 1/4 zip (thredUP price: $61.99 / Retail value: $118)

First of all that’s such a good discount code you’re offering and I’ve been eyeing thredup for awhile now without pulling the trigger on anything. I’d get about 7 Old Navy vests because I’m OBSESSED, I already have one and it cost me $35. I know thredup will be less expensive!

Was thredup around when you were pregnant? It’s been a great resource for me as I’m juuust growing out of my regular clothes. I actually have a shipment I just tracked with some fun maternity dresses and gifts for my nephew who I learned this past holiday weekend is OBSESSED with firetruck PJs. Easy Christmas gifts for him!

We’ll see how I like my new items but I’m already eyeing these:
    https://www.thredup.com/product/women-cotton-citizens-of-humanity-dark-blue-jeans/20304094?sizing_id=791%2C781%2C774%2C756%2C551%2C554%2C547%2C559%2C778%2C765%2C775%2C782

PS did you recently hear about their shipping policy where if you purchase a certain amt in one month the next month shipping is free? Haven’t used that feature yet but hoping I’m granted free shipping for next month!
