If you love yoga and you love Kashi, I think you are going to be incredibly pumped about today’s giveaway!
This summer, Kashi is partnering with Wanderlust Yoga Festivals to celebrate mindful living and empower people to live a healthy lifestyle. When I was approached by Kashi and Wanderlust and learned about this partnership and their mission, I knew I wanted to be involved in some capacity.
For those of you who may be unfamiliar with Wanderlust, it is the fast-growing yoga lifestyle brand behind the five summer festivals that take place across the United States and Canada.
This year, festivals are popping up in Stratton (June 19-22), Aspen-Snowmass (July 3-6), Squaw Valley (July 17-20), Whistler (July 31-August 4) and Tremblant (August 21-24).
Wanderlust Festivals offers yoga, music, outdoor hikes, adventure runs, kayaking, paddleboarding, biking, lectures and more. I will be attending two days of the festival at the Stratton Mountain Ski Resort in Bondville, Vermont at the end of June and I would love to have you join me! (Be sure to check out the giveaway at the bottom of this post!)
Wanderlust Festivals promise to be an adventure for your body, mind and soul. The festivals bring together the world’s leading yoga teachers, top musical acts, renowned speakers, exquisite chefs and exciting performers. Attendees have the option of attending one day or several days for a multi-day mountaintop retreat experience. When researching the festival I am going to attend in Vermont, I found myself feeling more and more excited about the festival when I realized I will have the chance to not only immerse myself in music and yoga but also participate in adventure hikes, mountain runs and informative lectures about a variety of topics including nutrition, motivation and more.
Here’s a tiny glimpse at what’s happening from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Friday during the Stratton Mountain Festival:
There’s no shortage of things to do, huh!?
I’ve also been told that there will be no shortage in delicious food to eat!
In 2014, Wanderlust’s sustainable dining experience will be more prominent than ever and will feature Farm-to-Table dinners, high-end mountaintop dining created with fresh, locally grown foods and Wanderlust wine. A number of brands will also be on hand to provide attendees with samples, including Kashi. I am excited to partner with Kashi and Wanderlust and can’t wait to attend the festival and bring you guys along for the ride!
And that brings us to today’s fun (and delicious!) giveaway.
One PBF reader will win two tickets to the Stratton Mountain Wanderlust Festival in Bondeville, Vermont and will also receive a Kashi prize pack full of goodies I selected myself based on my personal favorites!
You can expect to receive lots of delicious samples including the following:
- Kashi Chocolate Chip Chia Crunchy Granola and Seed Bars
These crunchy bars are my new favorite! I love them on their own or crumbled on top of a cup of creamy Greek yogurt.
- Kashi GOLEAN Crisp Cinnamon Crumble Cereal
The Non-GMO Project verified cereal contains 11 grams of protein and no artificial additives, preservatives or ingredients. Most cereal leaves me starving an hour later, but this one has staying power! Bonus points for maintaining crispiness when soaked in a bowl of milk!
- Kashi GOLEAN Crunch Cereal
I’ve been buying this fiber-packed cereal for years and still adore it! I frequently use it as a granola substitute and sprinkle it on top of Greek yogurt or cottage cheese as a great afternoon snack!

- What do you love most about yoga?
I will randomly select a winner tomorrow.
Good luck!
I love how yoga helped me manage my scoliosis.
As someone who spends weekdays sitting at a desk, I love how good it feels to stretch everything out!
I think what I love about yoga is how versatile it can be, there are so many different classes to chose from so depending on my mood I can pick a class that is perfect for how I’m feeling that day! Plus I find the teachers so motivating! I once attended a class where the assistant instructor that day spent a good portion of the class helping me through a head stand. I left feeling so invigorated!
I love the fluid and quiet strength you receive during your practice.
I love that yoga centers and calms my mind while giving me a great workout. It feels great to do power yoga after work to unwind and get my sweat on at the same time.
I love how stretched out my body feels after and how peaceful it is.
My favorite thing about yoga is that it allows me to clear my mind after a long day.
Being able to take time out of my hectic day to relax and relieve some stress 🙂
I love the quiet time I get during the practice and how I always leave feeling happy and refreshed.
I’ve been into fitness my whole life, however always kind of snubbed yoga as being too “low-key.” A couple of months ago, a friend urged me to come with her to a Barkan Hot Yoga Class because I have been stressed out with a lot of things. I took the class…and fell in love. I challenged my body in ways it’s never been challenged before, and was amazed at what my body was already capable of. I was also mesmerized at the other yogi’s in the class and what they could do as well.
I love that yoga is a non-judgement zone, where I can explore and try things without feeling pressured. Not to mention, I pretty much cried during my first shavasana because I had finally allowed myself to relax. 🙂
I love that it uses muscles outside of my normal workouts. I have random muscles that are the good kind of sore for days after a good yoga class!
I love how calming it is for my mind an it’s ability to stretch my tight hips like nothing else!
What do I love about yoga? Plain and simple, yoga puts me in check! I’m a runner and when I begin training for a new marathon, it seems like every other activity falls by the wayside. And then I remember, oh yeah I promised myself “more yoga” this time. So I force myself to make the time and I go. And then it’s like WHOA! Myself gets centered, balanced and most of all I find myself again. Yoga keeps me in check. 🙂
There are many things I love about yoga, but nothing beats the strong, sweaty and refreshed feeling I get when I leave!
I love how relaxed I feel afterward! I feel like my body and mind has had a chance to reset.
I LOVE how limber and empowered I feel after yoga…I can go straight to yoga from any stressful event and immediately feel 10x calmer!
I love that yoga challenges me!! I have just recently started taking classes and it is a major workout just making it through class right now! I love a challenge!!
Feeling rejuvenated!
I love how relaxing yet energizing it is all at the same time!
I love the feeling of complete relaxation afterwards!
My favorite thing about yoga is the escape I feel during classes, it’s like a mini-vacation!
It helps me take control of my sometimes crippling anxiety.
There are so many things I love about yoga. Yoga has played a crucial role for me in my recovery from my eating disorder. Every practice yoga helps me to set an intention to love, honor, and respect my body. Something I did not do for 3 years when ED ruled my body. Yoga helps me to bring out the power from within and shine my true light. Yoga helps me to remember that my body is a temple, and I will treat it with respect. Every time I practice yoga, I know I am working towards that mantra.
I am an instructor after being a student for many years. I love the peace of mind that yoga gives me and the strength no just physically but also mentally that I have achieved.
I love the fact that I get big bodybuilder men that come to class and they are such gentle men and LOVE the fact that they can get into the poses!
I love the fact that I have a blind lady that comes with her sight dog and he keeps one eye on her and that during final relaxation he lets out a big sigh!
I love that I always feel so stretchy afterwards. My legs always feel so amazing afterward.
What I love most about yoga is how personal it is. It’s not a competitive or team activity; it’s pure “me” time. I love all types of fitness but yoga’s focus on being in tune with your own body is great for the body AND the mind. It’s a much-needed contrast to track races and HIIT sets.
I love how it clears my mind and decreases my stress level. It empowers me with the calm energy I need to get through the obstacles of the week. Nothing beats a good stretch!
How powerful I feel! And the stretching !!! 🙂
I love how I decompress in yoga!!!
What I love most about yoga is the sense of community. Everybody is welcoming and everyone comes together to encourage others. Its great for all levels. Of course I also love feeling more empowered and confident after a class as well.
The thing I love most about yoga is how I feel after practicing it. Both my mind and body are completely relaxed; I feel refreshed.
I love how relaxing it makes me feel and how happy I feel afterwards!
I love how it changed my whole attitude, emotional, physically & mentally, about fitness, health, & overall well-being. I listen to my body and I am aware of what it needs & wants.
Body Awareness is key when doing HIIT, Running, & strength training workouts and Yoga taught me that and now my workouts are efficient & effective (and without injury).
Plus I practiced during my pregnancy up to the day I gave birth and I have never felt so amazing & healthy. Every time in Savasana I would feel him move & kick and I felt like he was trying the moves & trying to communicate with me. We had a very close bond & it is only stronger now.
It’s a way for me to unwind, yet strengthen and lengthen all at the same time. It’s my me time away from everything else
I love yoga because it is the only moment I am mindful with only positives.
I love how the classroom is silent yet through everyone else’s perseverance it feels like they are all cheering you on to get closer to your goals.
The wanderlust festival looks so amazing! I just recently got into yoga and I absolutely love it. Although, I am not the most flexible person and I don’t have all the poses down it makes me feel wonderful. I like to take ashtanga yoga. It’s power yoga which I love because I will burn as many calories doing that as I will taking a spin class!
Ive actually never tried it but would love to! I need to work on my flexibity!
I love how calming it is and how it stretches and resets your muscles, getting them ready for the more intense workouts I do on most days.
What I love most about yoga is how powerful and settled I feel afterwards. Yoga truly gives me an inner peace that it so necessary in today’s busy world.
Yoga is so SO challenging for me. My legs are super tight & inflexible – I can hardly even sit cross-legged! So, yoga is harder for me than most workouts!
I love taking time for myself after being with Little ones all day to meditate, refocus, & get a great workout! This is probably my favorite giveaway you’ve done yet! I would be so excited to win & take my best friend along!
I love how it fills me with positive energy!
As a yoga-informed psychotherapist, I have found yoga to be a magical medicine. It helps calms the mind and makes me feel strong.
I love how I feel after a great class! It’s also great “me” time!
Yoga makes me feel like a ballerina; strong, flexible and in control of my body (in the best feeling possible).
I love feeling a good stretch from yoga!
I love how relaxed and centered I feel after doing yoga!
I love that yoga is personal. Each time you practice you can learn something new about yourself.
Love the long, limber feeling post-yoga… plus the awesome stretch in my perpetually-sore runner hammy’s!
