If you love yoga and you love Kashi, I think you are going to be incredibly pumped about today’s giveaway!
This summer, Kashi is partnering with Wanderlust Yoga Festivals to celebrate mindful living and empower people to live a healthy lifestyle. When I was approached by Kashi and Wanderlust and learned about this partnership and their mission, I knew I wanted to be involved in some capacity.
For those of you who may be unfamiliar with Wanderlust, it is the fast-growing yoga lifestyle brand behind the five summer festivals that take place across the United States and Canada.
This year, festivals are popping up in Stratton (June 19-22), Aspen-Snowmass (July 3-6), Squaw Valley (July 17-20), Whistler (July 31-August 4) and Tremblant (August 21-24).
Wanderlust Festivals offers yoga, music, outdoor hikes, adventure runs, kayaking, paddleboarding, biking, lectures and more. I will be attending two days of the festival at the Stratton Mountain Ski Resort in Bondville, Vermont at the end of June and I would love to have you join me! (Be sure to check out the giveaway at the bottom of this post!)
Wanderlust Festivals promise to be an adventure for your body, mind and soul. The festivals bring together the world’s leading yoga teachers, top musical acts, renowned speakers, exquisite chefs and exciting performers. Attendees have the option of attending one day or several days for a multi-day mountaintop retreat experience. When researching the festival I am going to attend in Vermont, I found myself feeling more and more excited about the festival when I realized I will have the chance to not only immerse myself in music and yoga but also participate in adventure hikes, mountain runs and informative lectures about a variety of topics including nutrition, motivation and more.
Here’s a tiny glimpse at what’s happening from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Friday during the Stratton Mountain Festival:
There’s no shortage of things to do, huh!?
I’ve also been told that there will be no shortage in delicious food to eat!
In 2014, Wanderlust’s sustainable dining experience will be more prominent than ever and will feature Farm-to-Table dinners, high-end mountaintop dining created with fresh, locally grown foods and Wanderlust wine. A number of brands will also be on hand to provide attendees with samples, including Kashi. I am excited to partner with Kashi and Wanderlust and can’t wait to attend the festival and bring you guys along for the ride!
And that brings us to today’s fun (and delicious!) giveaway.
One PBF reader will win two tickets to the Stratton Mountain Wanderlust Festival in Bondeville, Vermont and will also receive a Kashi prize pack full of goodies I selected myself based on my personal favorites!
You can expect to receive lots of delicious samples including the following:
- Kashi Chocolate Chip Chia Crunchy Granola and Seed Bars
These crunchy bars are my new favorite! I love them on their own or crumbled on top of a cup of creamy Greek yogurt.
- Kashi GOLEAN Crisp Cinnamon Crumble Cereal
The Non-GMO Project verified cereal contains 11 grams of protein and no artificial additives, preservatives or ingredients. Most cereal leaves me starving an hour later, but this one has staying power! Bonus points for maintaining crispiness when soaked in a bowl of milk!
- Kashi GOLEAN Crunch Cereal
I’ve been buying this fiber-packed cereal for years and still adore it! I frequently use it as a granola substitute and sprinkle it on top of Greek yogurt or cottage cheese as a great afternoon snack!

I am a morning yoga person and I love how it makes me feel ready for the day. I go in to work calm and stretched and ready to go!
I love yoga because it allows you to focus on yourself and your body’s needs. Hot yoga is especially my favorite, the feeling afterwards is indescribable!
I would absolutely LOVE to go on a retreat like this! I will just be finishing up my school year, and it will be a wonderful way to decompress, be at peace with my first year of teaching, and do yoga. Thanks, Julie, for offering this giveaway!
I love that it helps with my flexibility and recovery after runs!
I love this giveaway! Lately I have been doing yoga more and more regularly, and I have grown to love the feeling of accomplishment it brings — there is nothing like working towards a new pose, stretch or balance and then finally achieving it.
I love yoga because it allows me to take time out of my day to focus on myself and relax.
I love how relaxed and rejuvenated yoga makes me feel after a great practice.
I have found that yoga is truly the only activity that allows me to completely calm my mind and clear my head. I love that when I walk away from yoga I feel rested, centered, and calm!
I love that yoga embodies all things positive. It promotes self-love, respect for others, and an appreciation for the world.
I love it’s ability to silence my mind and help me find a stillness my Type A self can’t always access on my own. 🙂
I haven’t done a ton of yoga, but I do love how calming it is when I’ve done it!
My favorite thing about yoga is that during that time everything else going on in my life seems to just melt away!
I haven’t done yoga in forever but I remember loving how relaxed I felt afterwards and being able to take the time to stretch really well.
My favorite part about yoga would have to be the peaceful feeling I get after class! I love attending my gym’s Monday night yoga class, it’s a great way to kick off the week 🙂

Clearing your mind and connecting your mind and body — so good!

I love the great stretch and gain in flexibility I get from Yoga!
Yoga helps me relax and stretches out my entire body!
I love the restorative power of yoga — for in-between workout days, it’s the best to get my muscles feeling ready for the next time in the gym! It also helps me feel closer to my step-mom in law, who is a yoga instructor. Even though we live several states away, I always feel closer to her when I practice yoga, so it is also a bonding experience for me 🙂
The mantras that come along with it reminding you to focus on the present and be grateful!
what I love most about yoga is leaving my phone in the car and shutting off the world. I have my phone running so this is a nice workout with no music no phone and a time to disconnect!
Yoga feels sooooo good after a run! I have a bad back so it helps alleviate that pain. I feel like a new person afterwards!
I have been doing yoga for years now, and although I love what it does for my body, I appreciate it most for my mind! It is way for me to clear my head and rejuvenate my mind and body when I need it most!
I love the calming effect during and after a yoga session. Most of my day is spent bustling around my office or chasing after my daughter so taking a little ME time really helps re-balance my mind.
My Friday night Yoga class feels so good at the end of a long week to get rid of all the stress.
I love how yoga is time carved out for you so that you can just tune out and let any stress from the day fade away.

I contribute my PR in a half marathon in November solely to adding yoga to my weekly work out routine- the flexibility I gained helped me as a runner!!
I love that yoga pushes me in a way I don’t normally push myself….I used to get frustrated because it wasn’t some “high-intense-cardio” session but the flexibility, mobility, and refreshment yoga brings is worth its weight in gold – I NEED to do more!
I love yoga for the way it stretches and opens up my back!
How exciting! My work offers free yoga classes during lunch and it’s an awesome way to get away from your desk, unplug and refresh!
As a runner, I like that yoga stretches out the sore muscles and I feel stronger. I found a yoga flow on NTC that I love to do. It really targets the upper body which I always seem to put off until last.

I love how it keeps me grounded after a difficult day.

What a great giveaway! I’ve been hearing about Wanderlust and am so intrigued with the yoga getaway!
What DON’T I love about yoga. I love that it gives me a space to breathe and reflect, and completely recharge both my body and mind. I swear yoga healed me a few years ago when I was so broken, and now, my practice is there as my retreat oasis whenever I need ME time. 🙂
