What Do You Want From Me?

December 29, 2010 by Julie 94 Comments

Thank goodness I’m a leftover lover! I get sick of foods if I eat them every day for weeks on end, but back-to-back meals that involve the same foods do not bother me in the least. This is a very good thing considering there are only two people in our household and we often have some dinner leftover.

As I’m sure you’ve already guessed, my lunch today included a big bowl of hot leftover cauliflower, carrots and pork.

She's an Easy (Leftover) Lover

I also included a stick of string cheese on the side since I apparently have to eat cheese every single day. If you don’t see cheese in one of my meals, it was likely included in one of my snacks (and I typically don’t blog my snacks).

The Goods

Wednesday Lunch

I threw this lunch together as I was putting away last night’s dinner which made packing lunch for work a breeze this morning.

What Do You Want From Me?

Tell me, please!

In 2011, I would like to continue the betterment of this blog. Though I have some ideas of my own, you guys are the readers and I will obviously learn the most from YOU and your suggestions.

So now, in the words of Adam Lambert, I ask you, “What do you want from me?” (Hate that song, by the way.)

I would love to hear what you would like to see on the blog in the future… or what things I currently do on the blog that you would like to see featured more often.

Please comment away and know that I’ll be sure to listen to your ideas and will do my best to make this lil’ blog coolest blog in all the land! 😉

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

You already document the majority of your life, so there really isn’t much to ask for, other than please travel more because I can’t afford it, that way I can live through you!

Because I suck at all things fashion related. I selfishly want more fashion advice.

But most people probably want more tasty-healthy meal ideas. Which I also like.

haha you’d be surprised… aside from emails asking me about food/fitness regimens & sadie, the next most common question i get is probably “where did you get that shirt” or “where can i find those boots?” i always feel so funny posting about fashion b/c though i like it and enjoy cute clothes/accessories, i don’t feel like i have that much to offer! if you have specific topics/ ideas, i’m definitely open to it!

It’s ’cause you always looks so freaking stylish! I wish I could do it. I honestly wear almost all black and gray most days. And I am scared of colored tights even though I love them.

Luckily, I work with a bunch of dudes who never notice.

Oh, and maybe posting about workout gear fashion :). Merge two topics into one.

I second Victoria’s requests – would love for you to write more about fashion! Especially the workout gear, I feel like the frumpiest girl at my gym. I loved it when you shared your gift-giving tip on the VS capris, however they are out of stock in most colors for size Medium! Would love to see more stuff such as that in the future. Maybe once per season, something like that?

OMG I hate that song too lol. One of the zumba classes I go to uses that song as the cool down and it drives me nuts.

I love the blog as is…I love trying recipes you post here. The only thing I might be interested in are some fun workout ideas to beat the treadmill boredom I’ve developed…I tried a couple of the incline interval treadmill workouts you’ve posted before and loved them. Other than that, more of the same!! Oh and seeing Sadie’s face makes me really happy too 🙂

i LOVE your blog and i love how you tell us about all your fun activities- there is always something new and exciting! I think maybe one thing that I would like to read more on is how you tackle ‘exercise ruts’ or little everyday feelings on food and exercise (if you do!) I always love your upbeat and positive attitude, but wonder if you ever ‘feel guilty’ or get in ruts with food or exercise.. sometimes I do and its good to just hear some advice from others!

I absolutely love your blog and it’s one of my favorites! I really love it just the way it is – you blog all your meals, workouts, recipes, photos of you and Ryan…you bring the readers into your world just perfectly. Maybe add in thoughts and feelings either good or bad about your relationship with exercise, food, etc. We all have our good and bad days so it’d be nice to see how you deal with those bad days since you’re always such a happy, positive person – which I love feeling through your blog b/c that then makes me a happier person. Either way, your blog is great as is and I’ll always be a loyal reader! 🙂

I’d like to know how you manage your time – how do you workout, eat, do errands, work full time, blog, moderate comments, take care of Sadie, take care of your self, spend time with hubby, and do everything? How do you do it all – and not go crazy? It seems like so much to do – and have a life on top of all the chores and work and all.

I dont know if its a physoge but you never talk about problems with that kind of stuff. or if you ever secretly feel guilty if you overeat.
    Idk just a thought!

As a college student, your quick, healthy and delicious meal ideas save me on many nights when I just don’t know what to cook! If you don’t mind, I just have a quick question…you said you eat cheese every day (I love it and I do too!) but do you go for the low fat stuff? I hear so many nutritionists on tv and in magazines say to only eat low fat cheese, but the full fat stuff tastes sooo much better! What’s your opinion on this?
