What Do You Want From Me?

December 29, 2010 by Julie 94 Comments

Thank goodness I’m a leftover lover! I get sick of foods if I eat them every day for weeks on end, but back-to-back meals that involve the same foods do not bother me in the least. This is a very good thing considering there are only two people in our household and we often have some dinner leftover.

As I’m sure you’ve already guessed, my lunch today included a big bowl of hot leftover cauliflower, carrots and pork.

She's an Easy (Leftover) Lover

I also included a stick of string cheese on the side since I apparently have to eat cheese every single day. If you don’t see cheese in one of my meals, it was likely included in one of my snacks (and I typically don’t blog my snacks).

The Goods

Wednesday Lunch

I threw this lunch together as I was putting away last night’s dinner which made packing lunch for work a breeze this morning.

What Do You Want From Me?

Tell me, please!

In 2011, I would like to continue the betterment of this blog. Though I have some ideas of my own, you guys are the readers and I will obviously learn the most from YOU and your suggestions.

So now, in the words of Adam Lambert, I ask you, “What do you want from me?” (Hate that song, by the way.)

I would love to hear what you would like to see on the blog in the future… or what things I currently do on the blog that you would like to see featured more often.

Please comment away and know that I’ll be sure to listen to your ideas and will do my best to make this lil’ blog coolest blog in all the land! 😉

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

I love your blog the way it is now!!! 🙂

Something that I want to do on my blog (but can’t yet because I don’t have nearly as many readers as you!) is to promote other bloggers by having a once a week guest post on a topic of their (or my) choosing. I think it is a great way to get viewership up on some of the smaller blogs. There are so many great blogs out there and I love finding new ones!

I love your blog as it is now 🙂 I love how you post your daily workouts, meals, and just life in general. It’s very well-balanced. If I had to request something, I would love to see more recipes, workout ideas/motivational tips, and videos. Oh, and the secret of how you stay so happy and upbeat all the time, too 🙂

Your blog is one of my favs!

Hi I’ve been reading your blog for awhile but this is my first comment…I really enjoyed when you did that demo video with Ryan, maybe more things like that would be fun: )

I enjoy everything about this blog. It’s fast become one of my favorites. I espec love seeing your lunches and dinner recipe’s. I don’t have a lot of healthy examples around me and it helps to see how healthy people actually maintain that. Your healthy dinner recipe’s also seem dude-friendly which is nice for my bf. I also enjoy your quirky sense of humor. Keep it up 🙂

I would love to hear more about your relationship with body image! You seem very happy and well adjusted and I would love to learn more about how you think about your body and how you became so comfortable and confident.

This is my favorite blog by far!!! It’s hard to think of what more I’d like to see! I agree with some of the comments that showing more workout routines would be interesting, but then again one thing I like about your blog is that it’s not ALL about your workouts…I love the Sadie & Ryan & family stories too! You have such a well-balanced lifestyle! You are so relatable! Other blogs sometimes make me feel overwhelmed with how absolutely perfect the bloggers are…or the insane meals they prepare. More videos is the only thing I can think of..I love the videos—although I still haven’t mastered curling my hair w a straightner…I need to revisit that one!

wait I thought of a topic..it may be too personal but I think one about how you save/manage/decide to spend money would be interesting. I think you’ve mentioned how much you love good deals at the grocery store, but you also have a lot of nice things! I just constantly contemplate what I want to splurge on, what I can afford, what’s worth spending more on, how much money I should be saving each month. I’d be interested to hear your opinion!

I love your blog as is but I always love to see a video! Videos on anything would be awesome..workout tips, recipes, etc. I would also love to hear more about how you stay motivated, what made you change to a healthy lifestyle, etc. I am in a rut!

Julie, I love your blog–it’s one of my favorites! Thanks for taking time to document things the way you do; I know that it must take up a good chunk of your time, and I just wanted to tell you how I have a girlcrush on you cool I think you are.

I think I’d enjoy more videos! I really enjoyed Ryan’s workout tutorial, and I think you guys could develop a series of webisodes. 🙂

    Hi Julie,
I love your website, I wouldnt change a thing, however I would like to see something like a book club added, where people including yourself can suggest books. I am always looking for a new book to read and I think this feature would be fun.
    Thanks,
    Kim

One more thing just crossed my mind, but it may be a strange request … Your posts about your family always make me smile, but they also make me yearn for such good family relationships that you seem to have. I mean, I don’t have a bad relationship with my family at all, but I miss the warmth&communication that I feel should be there. So, I don’t know, but hearing your thoughts/tips on this topic would be great!

    Hey Julie,

I adore your blog! I’d love to see two things in the new year:
    1. More videos! They are so fun to watch!
    2. How/if you plan meals out in advance– at the grocery store and on a day-by-day basis

Thanks, have a great day 🙂

In 2011, would you mind filling us in on what your grocery lists look like? You have such great recipe ideas and always seem to have exactly what you need to make them. I would definitely like to try all of your recipes but every time I go into the grocery store I draw a blank! Fill us in!

    Thanks!
