Who Wants Chocolate?

February 3, 2011 by Julie 547 Comments

After basically ignoring vegetables yesterday, I wanted to be sure to incorporate a bunch of the nutritious little guys in my lunch this afternoon.

Naturally, a salad seemed like the easiest way to do this!

Thursday's Lunch

In the mix:

  • Shredded iceberg lettuce
  • Large carrot, chopped
  • Orange bell pepper, chopped
  • One celery stalk, chopped
  • Roast beef
  • Pace black bean and roasted corn salsa

Reunited with the Veg

Phew! The salsa had a kick to it and made this whole salad taste very flavorful!

I was thankful for a cup of Greek yogurt to cool my mouth down a bit after this meal.

I was also quite grateful for some Guylian chocolate.

Guylian

I’m always open to a little creamy sweetness to wrap up a meal!

Ooooh Yes

Wanna know the best part?

YOU can enjoy this chocolate, too!

When the wonderful people at Guylian contacted me to see if I would be interested in receiving a sample of this chocolate, I jumped at the chance. I’ve been enjoying Guylian chocolate for years and love the seashell-shape of the chocolate and the rich, creamy praline truffle center of each chocolate.

Now it’s your turn! Woo!

One PBF reader will receive a gift basket of this chocolate.

Chocolate For YOU!

In the basket:

  • Guylian Originals Seashells, 4.4 oz.
  • Guylian Praline Original Temptations, 4.4 oz.

To enter this giveaway, simply comment telling me about your FAVORITE way to enjoy chocolate… in cookies, cakes, brownies, on top of ice cream… let your chocolate dreams run wild! 🙂

I will randomly select a winner and announce the winner tomorrow afternoon.

Good luck!

I love chocolate just out of my hand. I keep a bag of chocolate chips in the freezer and grab a handful when I need them!

There are a couple of bakeries in Atlanta that make some amazing chocolate cakes. One involves white chocolate mousse and the other dark chocolate, raspberry mousse. Love love love. I wonder if I can request two birthday cakes this year…

Pure and simple, straight from the wrapper! Although mixed with ice cream in a blizzard or in a cookie or in the middle of brownies are also a great way to enjoy chocolate.
