Moustaches + Miller Lite

December 4, 2009 by Julie 13 Comments

Movember was a success! Almost everyone from our office showed up sportin’ ‘staches to raise money for men’s health (specifically the Lance Armstrong Foundation).

The guys looked amazing with their perfectly coiffed facial hair.

The Guys

Even the girls got into it!

The Ladies

Before heading out to happy hour I picked Ryan up. When we arrived we immediately fastened on our faux facial hair.

Sexy, no?

Don’t I look like Colonel Sanders?

My fake moustache was shedding throughout the night. I had gray hair in my nose!

Delayed Dinner

After a few Miller Lites (my beer of choice) and a Jack and Coke for for Ryan, our tummies began to grumble. Nothing sounds better after a few beers than greasy pizza, so that’s just what we got!

Greasy, Cheesy, Yummy Pizza

My healthy side kicked in and I ordered a house salad to round out the meal.

Salad

Both were good! I loved the garlic knot they included with the salad. 😀

While we were waiting for our order to come out, I spotted a Sylvester Stallone look alike. I tried to be sneaky and snap a picture. To get his attention I made random whistle noises. We could not stop laughing! Ryan told me, “He’s not a dog! You can’t just clap and whistle to get his attention!”

Apparently it worked though… check this out!

Sylvester Stallone???

Sly

 Pretty close, huh?

Has anyone ever told you that you look like a celebrity?

I’ve been told I look like several random celebrities (though I never seem to see the resemblance). The one I hear most often is Amy Smart.

Amy Smart

Aside from the blonde hair we share, when we both smile we have squinty eyes. Beyond that I don’t see too much of a resemblance. I like her though, so I’ll take it! 🙂

The Santa Clause

We’re takin’ it easy the rest of the night. Our lateset NetFlix DVD, The Santa Clause, arrived today so it’s movie night!

See ya in the mornin’!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

I vaguely see the resemblance, but you are MUCH prettier!! Back in high school people used to say I looked like Paris Hilton, but I think it’s just because of my long blond hair!

Looks like a great time! Your office looks like such a young, fun group. I bet that makes for a great work environment 🙂 And I can see why people would say Amy Smart for you. I always get Jamie Presley. Don’t see that one in the least for me, but at least she’s hot. LOL

You do look like Amy Smart…which I think is a HUGE compliment. I have been told I look like Hilary Swank…the verdict is still out whether or not I think that is good or bad! haha!

Skip Hop Studio Diaper Tote Bag is awesome. So many wallets – and not these modest, worthless pockets, either. Almost all of the pockets tend to be a good dimension and genuinely assist maintain every thing organized. The handles are a excellent length and fit nicely more than the actual shoulder; the handle shoulder straps additionally stay put on my own arm, which is crucial when you’re transporting a newborn. The bag looks excellent, too. Not as well fancy, but not too casual. (I’ve it in black) The material is soft (can’t assume of a better word) so it is effortless to squeeze in to tight spaces – but yet it’s sturdy. I have a Fleurville Lexi tote and I love it, as well, but this bag is actually type of rigid. I consider that Skip*Hop can grow to be my daily handbag. It’s a bit large – so if you’re not in to large hand bags this might be far better as an over-night baby diaper handbag.
