Boot Wearin’ Weather

October 7, 2010 by Julie 53 Comments

It’s officially boot-wearin’ weather in Orlando today!

Boots!

I made sure to grab a hoodie to wear on my way to the gym this morning and was really glad I did. I wore it during the first half of a 20-minute warm up on the elliptical to get my muscles warm and ready for yoga afterward.

Yoga today was wonderful.

I know I’ve said it before, but I cannot believe how much I hated on yoga six months ago. Now I genuinely look forward to attending the classes, stretching out my body and quieting my mind (or attempting to, anyway).

I really do think it’s so important to do workouts you enjoy. That’s what will keep you going back to the gym time and time again, with a smile on your face. If you hate spinning, don’t do it! There are bazillions of other great ways to get your heart pumpin’.

After yoga, I headed home and took Sadie on a walk before making myself a delicious PBF classic for breakfast.

PB & P

I enjoyed a big helping of  peanut butter and a sliced peach on a toasted whole wheat bagel, dusted with pumpkin pie spice.

PB fo' Me!

You better believe my finger took quite a few swipes of peanut butter straight out of the jar in the process of making this bagelwich.

Peaches 'n' Spices

In the words of KFC, it was g-double-o-d, gooooood.

Question of the Morning

What is your favorite cold weather clothing or accessory item to wear?

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

Scarves! I absolutely adore scarves, even sometimes when it’s warm out. When I studied abroad, I bought a ton of fake pashmina scarves at the open-air markets in Spain. I have them in just about every color, so I always have a good accessory! My favorite is my burnt orange scarf. Enjoy your chilly day!

I don’t think I would call the weather we’ve had recently “boot weather” just yet but it does feel nice outside! When it finally gets cold in Orlando I like to wear boots and scarves (the fashion kind, not the “keep me warm” kind.
