Any Excuse for Hunter Boots

March 10, 2011 by Julie 17 Comments

Hey, Hunter!

At even the slightest sign of rain (or really intense humidity), you can bet I’ll bust out my Hunter boots! Any excuse for Hunter boots! 😉

  • White tunic: Old Navy (You may see this worn a different way here.)
  • Black leggings: Bed, Bath and Beyond
  • Purple Belt: Urban Outfitters
  • Green rain boots: Hunter
  • Watch: Michele
  • Silver Necklace: Express

Hey There, Neck

Annnd, a fun little tip for those of you who wear belts around your waist, but find that the end of the belt flaps all over the place…

Secure Belt

Use a clear hair tie to hold it in place! 😀

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

Cute! We are having a monsoon here today as well. My hair looks like Monica’s on Friends when they went to the Carribean. Not the cutest look! 😉

that IS a good idea- I used to use a bobby pin (to keep the flapping side in place). I am going to try that- cute look today 🙂

Cute necklace and great idea about the clear rubberband! i actually use either a bobby pin, like Annette, or a tiny bit of double stick tape!

It’s a perfect day for Hunter boots (actually i’m up North so the rain is only just heading here) but I pretty much always have a pair of shoes I wear to the office and a pair i change into at the office. Not like Working Girl, I don’t go to work in sneakers and slouch socks :), but i’ll ordinarily go to work in Converse or ballet flats or Ugg type boots or wellies and have to change when I get here. There is ALWAYS an extra pair of shoes in my bag because I just can’t bear to leave them at work!

I just tried on the new belt I got in the mail this morning and it was too thick for the bobby pin trick and I found myself wondering what to do! Thanks for the tip, great timing! 🙂

Seeing all your cute outfits with various belts makes me want experiment more with them (and buy a few more for the collection, of course)!

For skinny belts I’ve often used a tiny piece of dental floss, tied with a knot to secure the end…sounds strange, I know, but it’s barely visible!

Came across this etsy site and thought of you, since you are a Hunter fan. They make these things called slugs. They are fleece linings for your Hunter rain boots! http://www.etsy.com/shop/WithTheRain
