Bella Brava

November 19, 2011 by Julie 47 Comments

After much debate, we decided to go out to dinner tonight! (Does anyone else’s family take for-ev-er to decide what to do for dinner sometimes?)

bella brava 014

Before we headed out to dinner, my sister, Ryan and I took Sadie to the dog park for a never-ending game of fetch.

bella brava 011

I wore my new compression sleeves to the dog park and felt awfully hardcore. I’m getting nervous for tomorrow’s race!

bella brava 007

bella brava 004

Dog parks are such happy places!

bella brava 003

Once Sadie’s ball got stolen by another dog (it wasn’t really her ball – we found it at the park), we figured it was time to go and headed home to change before dinner.

Dinner

Dinner tonight took us to downtown St. Pete to Bella Brava, a nice Italian restaurant.

bella brava 016

We didn’t have a reservation, so when we arrived we put in our names and wandered in and out of a couple of nearby shops until a table was ready.

bella brava 021

I was feeling so indecisive this evening and didn’t want to order anything too heavy that might sit like a rock in my stomach before tomorrow’s race. I  eventually opted for a cobb salad and shared some of Ryan’s pizza.

bella brava 018

My salad was good, but I was hoping it would be a little more generous with the toppings.

Fortunately Ryan’s pizza was delicious and my sister also shared her gnocchi with me.

The bolognese sauce on the gnocchi was fantastic. I would’ve been happy just eating a bowl of that stuff!

When we arrived home from dinner, I printed off a course map for tomorrow’s race and organized my race day outfit. Half marathon in the morning!!!

I’m getting antsy!

P.S. The Fashion page was updated tonight.

I love dog parks and little trips that involve Zeke, like hiking or camping trips. We really feel like a family now that we’re married AND have a dog!

My family always takes forever to decide when it comes to food and restaurants- it’s become an ongoing joke, actually. It looks like you guys definitely decided on a good place, though!
And Sadie is beyond precious. Dog parks are so much fun. 🙂

Your mom looks so beautiful! Im always in awe of moms/ older women who look like they just have it together. That sounds a bit creepy, but I just hope when I’m old I’ll still look that good and be as successful and happy.

I love your neon pink compression socks! Good luck on the race!

I saw a restaraunt once that was named “I don’t care”. LOL That’s what always happens when we have to decide. “What do you want to eat”….”I don’t care”.
