Boston

As I powered up my laptop to type up an afternoon blog post, I opened my iGoogle page. I immediately saw a horrifying CNN headline about the explosions that occurred at the Boston Marathon this afternoon. I am shocked and incredibly sad.

On a day when we should be celebrating the accomplishments of runners who have poured their hearts into training, we are left feeling horrified and sad and praying for their safety and for the safety of those in Boston.

To those in Boston and to those who have loved ones in the area, you are in my thoughts and prayers. My heart goes out to all of you.
