Celestial Seasonings Chai Tea Giveaway

July 21, 2015 by Julie 986 Comments

In October last year, I had the opportunity to travel to Boulder, Colorado and drink my bodyweight in delicious tea at the Celestial Seasonings headquarters.

Homemade Dirty Chai

The trip was a blast!

Celestial Seasonings Tour Boulder

In addition to sipping on some of my favorite teas during my visit, I also had the chance to try a few of the company’s not-yet-released products that our entire group absolutely loved. Though we were sworn to secrecy at the time, I’m excited to team up with Celestial Seasonings and tell you guys about them today… Especially if you love both chai tea and coffee!

Celestial Seasonings Dirty Chai Latte

Celestial Seasonings first introduced chai tea into their lineup in the 1990s but the company is now launching a new line of chai teas that include creamy barista-style lattes and Teahouse Chai Teas, bold teas featuring classic and on-trend chai flavors (like coconut chai!). And today one of you will have a chance to win a prize pack to try them all! Woop!

Celestial Seasonings Dirty Chai

Here’s a quick rundown of the new latte flavors:

  • Dirty Chai – Lively masala chai spiked with a shot of bold espresso
  • The Godfather – Authentic masala chai with bold espresso and rich cocoa
  • Mountain Chai – A traditional masala chai with ginger, cardamom and cloves
  • Matcha Green – A smooth blend featuring traditional matcha green tea

Our group of bloggers fell in love with The Godfather (cocoa + chai + espresso = yum!) and the Dirty Chai. There’s something about combining bold espresso and spicy chai tea that just works.

The lattes are available in ready-to-drink bottles or concentrates that you can keep at home to use to make your own tasty treat by blending it together with your favorite milk or non-dairy beverage. (I think cashew milk tastes amazing with The Godfather.) They’re also free from artificial flavors, colors, sweeteners and preservatives.

I actually ended up using the concentrate to make myself a small chai smoothie to enjoy over the weekend.

Chai Latte Smothie

Dirty Chai Smoothie: 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk // 1/2 cup The Godfather Celestial Latte concentrate // 1 1/2 frozen bananas // 1 large handful ice

Dirty Chai Smoothie

So good!

The Teahouse Chai Teas are available in a variety of coffeehouse-style flavors, based on a traditional masala chai recipe.

Dirty Chai Tea

Teahouse Chai Tea flavors:

  • Dirty Chai – Lively masala chai spiked with a shot of bold espresso
  • Coconut ai Chai – Authentic masala chai plus coconut flavor and ai spices
  • Mountain Chai – A traditional masala chai with ginger, cardamom and cloves
  • Decaf Mountain Chai – A true masala chai with decaf black tea and fragrant spices

Since I am pregnant right now, I’ve been opting for decaf or diluting my dirty chai lattes with milk and adding a sprinkling of cinnamon for a little punch of flavor. (I’ll still have a cup of coffee or enjoy something caffeinated on occasion, but I am personally limiting my daily caffeine intake even though my doctor told me a small amount of caffeine is perfectly safe during pregnancy.) While I’m typically a hot latte girl, iced beverages are the way to go for me right now thanks to the intense summer heat.

Now here is your chance to win a prize pack from Celestial Seasonings to try some of their delicious new chai tea lattes and Teahouse Chai Teas!

I absolutely love tea. I actually just brewed a cup of sleepy time tea before reading this post. I do not drink coffee or sodas, so I get my daily caffeine boost from tea! I love green teas, so the matcha green is very appealing to me. I would also love to try the mountain chai because ginger makes any drink better!!
