Thankfully I keep an emergency stash of soup in a drawer at my desk so I have something to eat should a food emergency surface. (Apparently I keep lots of fun stuff in my desk drawers!)
Also in the drawer: A crap-ton of tea, honey, jelly, hot chocolate, utensils, lady products 😉 and miscellaneous personal papers. Things not in the drawer: peanut butter. I tried this once and the whole jar was gone in three days. Three days. And it wasn’t even specialty flavored peanut butter. I’m a mess.
Around lunchtime today I rummaged through the drawer and selected a can of Progresso chicken barley soup.
I also purchased a pack of honey roasted peanuts for $.50 from the little café on the second floor of our building to add some healthy fats and protein to my meal.
Fat: Check! Protein: Check!
This makeshift meal was surprisingly pretty darn good. Drawer food to the rescue!
Before moving on to some giveaway fun, I just wanted to let you know that the Fashion page was updated!

Bananas are my fav too, especially in smoothies!
Strawberries in greek yogurt! Or….blackberries on/in vanilla icecream (homemade).
Bananas! To make homemade banana pudding with!
Bananas all the way, baby! And I can’t eat them plain: I gotta have ’em topped with PB and wrapped up in a whole wheat tortilla or sandwhiched between toasted whole wheat english muffin, yum!

MANGO is my favorite fruit!
Thanks PBF!
Hmmm that is so hard! I’d have to say fresh peaches or a really ripe mango. Peaches with vanilla ice cream or in a pie and mango all by itself!
Mango is my favorite but I really don’t eat it that often. I mostly eat Apples, and I LOVE them with PB!
I LOVE PEARS!! Pears tossed in a salad, Pears and yogurt, but my all-time fav is Pear Pizza with honey and pecorino cheese…delicious!!!
My current favorite fruit is bananas with Dark Chocolate Dreams Peanut Butter. So good!

i love mangos! i blend them up in a blender with yogurt, ice cubes, and a teeny bit of mint. it’s actually an indian drink called “lasse”, and it’s so simple.. i feel like a pro when i make this “lasse”! =p
My favorite fruit is bananas- on top of a peanut butter and banana sandwich!
Mango! While studying abroad in Australia I used to buy cases of mango for super cheap. I finally learned how to cut them properly and love them just as they are. The ones in the US just aren’t as (silky?) and sweet as the ones in Australia though.
recently i’ve been really into frozen pineapple! but i think fruit always tastes better frozen
I’m so boring but I love cold crispy apple slices with cinnamon sprinkled on top!
I could eat handfuls upon handfuls of raspberries. Lately I’ve been putting them in my Greek yogurt and they don’t disappoint!
Mangos! I love them in smoothies!
Hands down, watermelon! I like to pre-cut it into bite-sized chunks, so I can consume it as fast as possible.
Mangos in yogurt! Yum!
I love blueberries, raspberries and bananas. I can’t wait for Spring so I can have this combo for breakfast everyday!
Mmmm I love apples cut up with either with cinnamon and a little salt on top or the classic – apple cut up with peanut butter!
While I am addicted to apples, I absolutely love bananas! I am actually eating banana and PB sandwiches tonight, along with a banana, PB, and Apple Butter sandwich… can we all agree=AMAZING 😀
This is tough, but it’s got to be apples, dried and true! They are a solid standby that are delicious in so many different ways! My indulgence is when I have them with Peanut Butter (I too am a peanut butter addict), but most often I slice one up real thin like a potato chip and have a string cheese with it. Yum! and portable!
how do i choose??
apples with pb?
grilled peaches?
in a pie?
in a cobbler?
warm berries over vanilla ice cream?
straight-up ripe mango?
any and all, please!
Pineapple – in fact, especially freeze dried! 🙂

I love pineapple straight up…and in rum drinks 😉
Raspberries are my favorite fruit & I love them in my yogurt messes!
Pineapple!! Fresh and in large quantities!!!
I’d have to say a perfectly ripened pineapple would have to be pretty high up there on my list! It usually leaves my tongue burning, but it’s always worth it! :}
